I wish. 1) My parents don't allow me to date before I turn 21 (at LEAST) 2) Everyone in the group constantly tells me I'm still a kid anyway (and I am, compared to them) 3) It's damn embarrassing and I can't even talk to my friends about it because it's just too embarrassing to even broach the subject to ANYONE

I guess I'll just go with the flow of the situation. I mean, dang >.< Oh, and wait some two years.

About love letters: Written words nowadays simply seem so cold. In the old days, sure, it's fine. Especially if there's a long distance involved.

About people messengers: People tease each other about romantic relationships all the time. In our group of friends EVERYONE goes, "Hey, so and so person likes you!" constantly. Messengers is the most untrustworthy method of delivering this kind of message.

About anonymous letters: If you don't plan on getting a result and just want to let it out of your chest, yeah sure, why not? It would look too much like a prank to be taken seriously by the other person.

About text, email, or chat: ditto love letters. It's like so cold and distant. And there's chances that the person don't get the message due to technical issues. Happened to me once when someone tried to confess via text. The message was cut in half, and I never received the half that contained the confession. Oops

Theoretically, face-to-face direct "confrontation" is the best way, but it takes lots of guts to do this sometimes. Oh and it probably would hurt more should you get rejected.

I soo... agree with you!! I think the boy was really a dork to send a love-letter to my friend like that...

Oh and - I really prefer Face-To-Face as - Then babblers like me can babble on and on ... And not get scared, You feel like - "At last! Got that heavy feeling out!!"

Regarding no-dating-before-21 thing is just so that I concentrate on my studies more. I'm all the way in the US, far away from my parents and stuff are expensive, so I better not act like an airhead. Except, of course, if I fall in love. Just because I may not date doesn't mean I can control my feelings. If I ever fall in love, I'd probably still be stressing over the person, even though I would know for sure I cannot date.

I HONESTLY NEVER told a crush I liked her.. wait, once.. But I got a friend to say it to her.. So it doesn't count.

I've only told the person I'm in love with that I like her.
A crush only lasts for a few months, after that, It's love. That's at least my Philosophy xD

@Meroko: My crushie? Waiting for me? I have an idea who, and if we're talking about a fellow Amaranthian who also know me in real life, then we're thinking of the same person. We are currently not talking to each other due to personal issues and I don't think we're even friends anymore. Not romantic at all Never was, never is, never will be.

@general: There's an off-chance I actually do have a crush on someone right now. It's a real weird feeling. I try not to think about it because I myself do NOT want to be in any relationship yet, parents forbidding or no. And the guys is way older. Geh.
