Every Kingdom has a National Anthem. So should our great kingdom Amaranthia, shouldn't it?

So here is a chance for you to be the crafter of Amaranthia's own National Anthem

Contest Rules
1. The usual Amaranthian rules are applied

2. The music (and lyrics if present) should be composed by you, not stolen.
3. Only one entry per contestant.
4. You have to make your own entry.
5. You cannot give your prize to any other forum member.
6. You may submit the entries in the collegium with title "National Anthem - 1", "National Anthem - 2" and so on.

music as in "gotta crank out the piano, find recording equipment, and record my music" music contest?

Well that cuts me out as I don't have any type of recording equipment. I mean, I got software that can mix/edit songs together (freeware audacity ftw), but I'm guessing that's not acceptable.

Yeah....I'm the same way as KTC. I don't have any recording equipment, and even if I did, I doubt I would feel motivated enough to do it. I suppose I could find some blank sheet music and upload that, but I probably just won't bother. Good luck to anyone who does enter, though!

I suppose that you could use programs like melody assistant and edit the things like pitch and volume by audacity.

yeah here's the thing: I can't read music that well let alone write it down. A bit like "speaking a language but don't know how to write".

Making up tunes by 'feeling around' on the keyboard is more my thing, which is ineffective if there's no way to record it lol.

Still, kudos to anyone who's up for it.

There is a way to record it. Use Vocaroo

And I'm not sacrificing my headphones on the off chance it'll work. I happen to like the pair I'm using a lot and it's my last one.

I seriously recommend you should get a microphone if you can play the keyboard well
Anyway melody assistant is not that hard if you just have a sense of music. Just play with it a bit and it is very easy.

Write lyrics - that I can do
Sing a song - that I can do as well
record - probably with bad quality since my mic is terrible lol
compose and play -not me...this sounds very interesting...I don't know if you have any entries yet but if you don't, remember that not everyone on this site is a composer lol
