I just read something by TheFool about dictionaries and new words, and one of his phrases that he pointed out was "I could care less". He pointed out that you do have to care and that makes a lot of sense. You have to care somewhat in order to be able to care less, and that just got me thinking about that and how you should say could'nt care less. Come on, really people? And thank you for reading this long, pointless ramble and I just felt like speaking about this and probably nobody will read it and now I'm just typing my thoughts so I'll stop.

The aliens I believe in are the ones who are like us. Humans, elves, maybe even Hybrids. Ones that live in their own worlds, thinking how Aliens beyond would look like.

RANT! RANT! RANT!

I hate it, I absolutely do, When people keep trying to make Girl-To-Girl relationships with me. It's irritating. It's getting on my nerves. D:

And so I continue/expand/complete my rant on the Tell me a Lie thread.
Rant Topic: The Avatar: The Last Airbender movie. WARNING: Giant textwall ahead.

I've only watched the last part and I'm already complaining about how loosely it sticks to the original cartoon. First of all I'm going to rant about the dragon spirit thing.
*takes deep breathe*
It was supposed to be a meditating baboon who told Aang to go to the face-stealing centipede-spirit-thing who provided the information about the Koi, and after that he was supposed to meet the panda he previously saved/fixed from it's demented killer panda state! I can understand trimming it down, since that scene itself would really take up some time, but the least they could have done was keep ONE of the original spirits. Like him starting off talking to the baboon for, like, a minute so he could get the warning 'bout the face-stealing thing (a minute was all it really took in the cartoon) and THEN going to talk to the face-stealing centipede-spirit and only talking to him for as long as he talked to the dragon in the movie. For the most part i think they changed it into a dragon because It looked cool! I HATE that!
And when Zuko kidnapped Aang in the movie he just waltzed right into some random building and kept him there, where anyone could just walk in and see the prince of the fire nation with the BLEEPing Avatar tied up on the bed next to him! (All swears have been censored as I fear getting banned. And I just realized how perverted that sounded...so, I apologize for any disturbing mental images I may have caused) In the cartoon Zuko hiked through a BLEEPing SNOWSTORM, and stashed Aang in the cave. Then Katara and the others found him after searching for him on Apa and then there was an almighty fight scene and Aang, knowing that Zuko would get hypothermia and freeze to death if they left him, strapped him to Apa and told him (apa) to let Zuko of at safety (Well, Zuko's version of safety). A true, dramatic act of kindness instead of defrosting his head and saying 'we could be friends', which kinda contradicts Aangs opinion when Zuko DOES offer allegiance and friendship. Given, Zuko did do a fair amount more harm to him by that point, but still.
And another thing that really, REALLY burns me? The firebending (no pun intended on the 'burns me' thing). Everyone made a big deal when Iroah made fire out of nothing, as they had to have a ready source of already lit fire to bend. They're supposed to BLEEPing be able to make fire out of BLEEPing nothing. And that's exactly what Zuko did when he melted the ice (Mini-rant: he was supposed to get into a ice cavern filled with penguin-seals, which I really miss, but that's just me, and then find his way into the watertribe's sewer. Not just burst straight through the BLEEPing floor of some random building) using heat he generated from his fingertips, and if he kept that up above ground by all rights he should be able to create flame, like he did in the cartoon (another thing? Scientifically, if he melted Ice her should have boiled the water he was floating in. I think, anyway, science is not my strong point). Another issue with the not-so-fire bending is that General Zoah (I think that's how you spell it) stabbed the moon-koi-spirit instead of killing it with fire.
One more thing on top of this almighty list of complaints I have made? The Avatar State thing at the end of the movie. In the cartoon, yes, he did go into the Avatar State, but instead of making a giant tidal wave he summoned up the ocean and made himself a giant water Avatar-chi powered water monster and tossed around the firenation ships like they were toys in a bathtub. And while he was in this suit of almighty avatar water he encase General Zaoh in a water bubble and drowned him, pretty much the same thing the water-benders did in the movie, except much cooler.
And the thing that makes me REALLY want to march over to hollywood or where ever this movie was made and throttle the person who was responsible for this injustice? They. Couldn't. Even. Get. The. Main. Characters. BLEEPing. Name. Right.
I mean, COME ON!! It's pronounced A-ang, like it's spelt. Say it with me now, A-ang. Not Aung, you BLEEPing BLEEPs (excuse my censored language, but I'm really ticked off right now). If your going to make a movie based on a cartoon, at LEAST BLEEPing WATCH it first! I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if they got the recount of the movie from a two-year-old who hadn't even learned how to pronounced 'Avatar' yet.
And another, more controversial issue is the actors. I can understand it, but it kinda shines a bad light on India or wherever that all the actors for the fire nation--the bad guys, and remember this is an adaption of a cartoon, which means lots of impressionable kids will be watching--are all played by people of that origin. While I'm on the actors, Zuko wears his hair in a tie on the top of his head. And this next one might have been caused by my not seeing it, but Katara has hair-loopies.

Rant over. It's good to get that off my chest. I mean, I understand some changes, like they had to trim down the movie time, but really, some are just stupid. If you managed to get through that mother-of-all-text-walls without your eyes glazing over, congrats. One more thing, I don't think you should make real life movie-remakes of cartoons, but that's just me.

Little rant about my friend.

So like everyone in my class likes this one boy, and so does my best friend in the world. And what's really annoying is she will literally abandon me to go and talk to him. Literally, we'll be sitting, doing whatever, then she jumps up, and goes to work by him and talk to him. Oh, and he's one of my best friends too. So, she likes him and he has no idea, so I tell him, and he gets this look on his face that either means 1. Eww . . . that thing likes me? OR 2. Okay *lots of things going through mind* So, if he likes her (which I think he doesn't) then she'll find out and get all happy and abandon me to talk to him all the time and if he doesn't like her then that's good. But it doesn't matter that much so really I just wanted to talk. Oh, and BTW, everyone says that he likes me and I think he does so there's a little fact.

Pretty much almost everything about the occupy xxx city movement.

They don't do anything except be obnoxious, loud, and take up space. They are leaderless, their demands are impossible to meet, they establish slums in cities, they're thinking of taking over buildings that aren't there's (so if I take over the house of a person I don't like, I'm nothing more than a criminal. But if I take over a building with a bunch of people, I'm an activist? wah?), some of them degenerated to vandalizing thieves (I am angry with this person so I'm gonna steal their stuff. *facepalm*), and people are lauding their 'efforts' which is nothing more than a little noise on the news and more taxpayer money wasted on cleaning up their trash!

And now they are supporting an anti Black Friday day where you resist all the sales and don't buy.

Uh no. that's not gonna happen. Economy is bad so why on earth would I not buy something on Black Friday if the price is cheap? Are they gonna provide a better deal? Obviously not.

If they get their act together and stop acting like a bunch of immature kids screaming for their toys, maybe I'll give them respect but as is I'm not happy they are on the front page of every newspaper right now.

They remind me a lot of the people who took over my college's library which was really aggravating as I used that library often and always need to borrow books. Most of those people probably don't even use the library! I was lucky the librarian recognized me as one of the library regulars and let me in to get my books or I would have not been able to study. >_<****

Or the group of people who encouraged college kids to not go to class. HECK NO. I'd be so behind in class if I missed even one class. Idiots.

Meh. I also hate the republicans holding the system, especially those preaching the anti gay movement an that the earth is flat and that we need to base our economy on the Simcity 4 model. ReallY. What are they thinking, ruling the world? They're making fools of themselves. Morons.
