@KTC: Once Upon a Time is really interesting. Once you get past the inherent cheesiness, it's just a really fun show to watch. The storylines have more depth than you might expect, and the fairytale characters are given intriguing (if not entirely plausible) back stories. And the actress who plays the Evil Queen is basically awesome. If you liked Lost then you'd probably like this one, although they're pretty different in their own ways. It's definitely not a show for everyone (but I'd at least try past the pilot -- the second episode is much better).

Sherlock is somewhere on my list. I still haven't gotten around to it, but the short length of the series and the fact it's on Netflix mean that I'm definitely going to watch it.

I'm kind of turned off Xena by the name alone. Is it on Netflix? I might try it if so.

I might have to give Once Upon a Time a try myself. I know I really wanted to see it when I saw the ads for it, and then I never actually watched it... I have no idea why.

In other news, Glee's on tonight! And next episode Sam is returning! And then there will be Samcedes! Yay!! (I'm a shipper, what can I say. ^^ )

@ipink: You've never heard of Xena? It was big during the 90s.

It's about an Ex-warlord trying to make amends for being very evil in her past. Very loose historical action fantasy sprinkled with cheesy fighting scenes, godly hijinks, a sidekick whose clothes get smaller as she learns to fight better, and morality XD

Well I like The Tudors (you didn't see that coming, heh? xP) an True Blood. That's about all American/British series I watch(ed).

Once Upon a Time sounds very interesting though. I'll watch it if it ever airs here. ^^

I do of course watch a lot of Flemish TV series. My favourites are Halleluja! (about an angel and a devil trying to win a woman over to their side), Buiten de Zone (a show aimed at teenagers about a bunch of teenagers dreaming their days away) and Kulderzipken (a show aimed at children in a mediaval/fairytale setting).

Finally! A tv club!! <3<3<3

I'm a fan of ugly betty and project runway ^^ Also used to watch Survivor when I was a kid =P

I occasionally watch Pushing Daises(?) & Monk if they're on tv. Pushing Daises' interesting; I might catch up with it if I'm finished with my current one.

Also, I'm hooked on the Iryu series. ^田^ Usually medical dramas are rarely entertaining but this one even beats House. ;D

I was a bit turn off on the first few episodes (esp with the huge difference in the manga; i.e.: Kato & Kirishima dating, Kito's gender change, Miki a bit of a Mary Sue etc) but I was glad Kihara's character was made to be a comic relief. He's actually more likeable in the drama than the manga (and less of a dasdard). @_@ Oh and the actors/actresses SO look like the ones in the manga! (Esp Noguchi!) >3< Currently watching Part 3 of the series.

@slimm: You like "sexy" television, huh? I can see how there's a certain appeal to The Tudors and True Blood. I tried watching The Tudors but, much as I love costume dramas, I found the gratuitous sex annoying. I'm fine if there's a purpose, but it seemed like the only reason it was there was to show skin. That's a problem with lots of premium cable networks.

@Ivana: I love Ugly Betty! That show was awesome, especially with the focus on fashion. I'd like to say it ended too soon, but to be honest it got a really good ending. Project Runway's good too, also for the whole fashion thing. Then again, its host person is extremely obnoxious.

You should watch Pushing Daisies. Every single episode of it is charming, smart, and lovely. This show truly DID end too soon. It only got twenty-six episodes.

@iPink: Well, in the case of the Tudors, I can see it have it's purposes (if only to prove how unfaithful everyone was in that time), why in True Blood, it's just plain sex because of it.

Oh, and though I never was able to see more than a few episodes, I loved Rome. Too bad, I never saw more than five episodes... Spartacus seems interesting too, but I missed the first episode and I hate butting in the middle of a serie. That's probably one of the reasons I have seen so less TV series (besides the Flemish ones).

Anyone seen The Borgias? I want to see it, but I'm frightened to see what they did to Cesare and Michelotte and well Lucrezia and Cesare's 'relationship'. I'm not sure if I'll be able to enjoy the series if they screw my vision on those matters up completely. Oh well, if I can handle Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, I should be able to watch it... I think.

@iPink

26 episodes only?! D: That's like, only 2 seasons! -0-!

Also I forgot what the show was called but it has something to do with interior designing. I've watched it occasionally on tv - the crew have only a limited time (1 or 2 days?) to buy the materials and do a makeover to the house. Somehow I love watching tv shows about fashion/interior designs, really gets me excited ^-^

I'm not sure if anyone heard of this but has any of you saw 'Extras'? It's a short tv show/(sitcom?) about the 'extras' in movies/tvs. There are special guests in the shows in each episodes and the actors/actresses act 'opposite' of what they are supposed to be. My favourites were the Orlando Bloom, Daniel Radcliffe and the Chris Martin episodes. xD I lol'd when Bloom said he hated Johnny Depp and when Chris Martin kept shamelessly advertising his new album. x'D

I just heard that Rachel sometime recently got suspended from New Directions on Glee. For some reason this makes me really want to see what led up to this, and it makes me want to watch Glee again. Which may or may not be a bad thing. For those who have seen this season, has the show improved from the Season Two? Are the characters consistent? Do storylines continue in practical and reasonable ways? Does Kurt (and Blaine) have a much smaller part (and are they less pathetically stereotypical)? Is it less preachy? Are the songs actually relevant to plot rather than simply the recent top ten hits? OH! Has Kristin Chenowith returned (I'll watch anything with her!)?

Oh, and Glee fans:

I'm thinking that this show looks like Glee except good.

Wow. I saw what you guys were watching, and I was pretty much just sitting there saying, "Whoa, I love that show!"

Anyways, right now, I'm watching a few shows that I really like. There's Merlin, Sanctuary, Once Upon a Time, Grimm, Castle, and Firefly. I watch other finished SciFi stuff, too, especially old Star Gate Episodes, and Star Trek.

I was wondering if anyone watched the Big Bang Theory. Is it good? My friends have been talking about it, and I think I should watch it. Maybe.

@iPink: Yep, Rachel got suspended, which also means she isn't singing for sectionals. Oh, and Ida Menzel returned as Shelby and she's working at McKinley... as a sub and coach of the Troubletones. And Mercedes, Santana and Brittany are in the Troubletones. So Sectionals look to have a good song list- a Survivor/I will survive mash-up by Santana and Mercedes//Troubletones; Control/(Blaine/Artie/Quinn)//ABC(Tina[lead]/Mike/Kurt)//Man in the Mirror(ND) (I think these may be a mash-up?).

As to the consistency of the characters-- well, that has never been Glee's strong suit. Quinn's gone off the deep end; Mercedes is a lazy diva one episode, and a leader the next...

Umm... Storylines... Some do, some don't.

Klaine does have a smaller part. But not that much smaller. But it seems like more people are getting plots, so...

Umm... They've done fewer recent top ten hits hits.

I think it may be worth trying again. *shrugs*

@Yuffie: Yay Merlin!

Big Bang Theory is pretty good, imo. It's funny and has geeky references, and pretty enjoyable.

@Ashen: It doesn't sound like you're very enthusiastic. XD I think I'll wait until it's on Netflix. Then... we'll see.

@Yuffie: I've watched (and continue to watch) every single show you mentioned except for Sanctuary and The Big Bang Theory. What's Sanctuary about? (I'm not really interested in The Big Bang Theory. Two comedies are enough for me in New Girl and Modern Family. Never been a huge fan of comedies, so two is kind of a lot for me. I'm here for drama with a twist. )

What is up with Quinn? She's all over the place. Nasty Cheerleading bully -> get drunk and pregnant -> kicked out the house -> Beth-> pink hair gangsta punk

O_o

And we can't forget trying to get Beth taken away from Shelby by planting 'evidence' in Shelby's house and calling child services. Just so they would give Beth back to Quinn because Beth is 'perfect'. Which doesn't work, leading to Quinn propositioning Puck (and later, according to spoilers, Sam) to have sex with her and make another 'perfect' thing.

0.o

Quinn... What the heck is wrong with your head?

Quinn is probably the most inconsistently written character in the entire show. In the first season she developed from a total witch into a much more mature and slightly worn young woman. Then in Season Two they decided that that apparently never happened: we hardly get a mention of her baby or her pregnancy, and she's back to how she was in the first season. And, though I've never seen it, Season Three seems to have been the worst on her yet.

@iPink: Sanctuary is a Sci Fi show that follows around members of a 'Sanctuary', a place where people take care of abnormals, people/creatures that have dangerous or abnormal abilities. Vamps, lycanthropes, immortals, crazy bugs/monsters/etc. It's pretty good, and it's a more serious kind of show. There was recently an episode where one of the main characters could only understand people who were singing, which was one of my favourites.

@Ashen: Geeky references. Sounds like the kind of thing I would enjoy. ^^

I'm really getting into the show Veronica Mars. It's like film noir with a plucky, feminist, pink-wearing main character in a modern setting. And you'd expect it to be really cliche and annoying, but it's gritty and (often) realistic and it manages to avoid the most repugnant high school tropes and stereotypes. I had trouble really clicking with the first seven episodes or so. I mean, they were really high quality, but I just couldn't get into it. In the past few episodes, however, it's all fit. I'd say it's worth a watch.

Well, there are those who say she's been psycho all along, and just finally decided to show it.

Regardless, she's not the only one who we've seen 'mature'/learn a lesson and then regress. Will, Rachel, Mercedes and Quinn are the most common culprits, but I think the majority of the cast has had a time or two at least.

Also... May I just squeal over the Troubletones mashup for a moment?

Of course they wont win, New Directions will. T.T I want the Troubletones to win so badly.

Anyway... I'll try to stop talking about Glee as much now. XD
