Is it possible to make one of the Aveyond games into Apple iStore App? Or mabe the Amaranth Games website more compatible with an iPhone or iPod touch. Because my computer crashed about a year ago and with this economy I don't have the money to get it fixed. So I've been useing my phone and it's rather inconvenient to have to zoom in to see the tiny writing on the site and I miss being able to play my favorite game.

No, I don't think the Aveyond games can be made to work with Macs, or into an App. I think the non-RPG games though, can work.
As for the website, I have no trouble viewing it on my phone. But my phone is an Android phone and not an iphone.

I think she means to say to make a version of Amaranthia's Mobile Version Site, So that it's easier to browse.
I've also been think about that from a while. It's kinda hard to zoom in. Also, It shouldn't matter from phone to phone. I've a Nokia.

Even if you have to zoom, the point is it's still pretty easy to use on mobile. Even the chat works on mobile

Yeah It is. But it's still easier if it's the mobile version, IMO.

I never use the chat so I wouldn't know. And I was thinking it may work as an adverstiment, to have a mobile site.
And what about games like the Yummy Drink Factory? Those could possibly be made into apps right?

With smart phones, I'm not sure there is much of a need for mobile site. A lot of sites can be, including this one, can be easily viewed without there having to be a special version of the site for a phone.
Yes, I think those games can be made into apps. I think the first HOG was introduced to the App Store, but I'm not entirely sure.

HOG = Hidden Object Game. The games like Gypsy's Tale and Curse at Twilight.

Aveyond can't be put on the App store because the game engine we use only creates for the Windows platform. But the likes of Grimm's Hatchery, Yummy Drink Factory and our hidden object games certainly could. In fact, A Gypsy's Tale was released on the app store only a month or so ago.

Yes I saw that A Gypsy's Tale was on there but it's for iPad only. But seriously, what about the advertising? If it was on the app store more people would see it and more people would buy it. Someone needs to look into this, I would but I don't know how.

And Shaz, I understand about the format problem, but there are RPG games on the app store. Not many but they are there. Check out Destinia and Advena. I mean it's the kind with the little short squashed characters, but it's a possible way. Maybe. I wish I new more about this so I could help a little more.

Shaz, never said there weren't RPGs in the App store. She just said Aveyond can't be made to put into the App store.

Those games were not made with the engine that we use. RPG Maker only builds games for Windows. We are searching for a good engine that will build for other platforms as well, but so far we've not found one that does everything we need.
If/when we DO find (or make) one, we'll start including iOS in our RPG platforms. Whether we go back and convert the older games ... we'll have to wait and see.
