@Minnie: You can find it, if you have something from the beginning of the game. Anyway, it's on the little island where you met the dwarf who gave you bait.

Head to the place where the dwarf was (north of mermaid town) and talk to the mermaid in the changing room. You need an item from very early in the game to complete this quest.

What do I need to help the fairy wrap her present?

how do you get the last entrent for the gala in mermaid's village? stuck there for 5 days now lol

The last entrant is the maid. She will need something to wear though. Go North from the village, to find her some clothes.

Can anyone tell me how to get past the squid on the bridge and is this the way to the caves where the item is to get the book?

No, that just leads to the wishing well later on (after you rescue the squid's son).

As for the book, you need to head to the Spider Caves (southeast of squid city) and pick one of the webs in the northwest area of the cave and use it to fish out the book.

Hi, I'm stuck trying to find the small thief and/or conquer the monster hiding under the bridge. I'm tried talking to people and attacking all squirrels/monsters I see. Have not found the small thief...although there is one monster I cannot conquer...Found no way to attack the monster under the bridge. It makes a sound when I go by, but if I press "space", nothing happens. Help please!

Have you been to the Fairy Village already?
If not, it's to the East (you'll see a circle of mushrooms).

Thanks, I looked. Couldn't find it. The exit is blocked off b/c of the goddess. Unless I'm missing the mushrooms somehow?
