Ya know to expand on the idea of AV on other platforms would be great.
@d_a yes most movies aren't nearly as good as the books, but its just a cool thing. and some do turn out good; look at Hunger Games.

But what I really want to see is AV on other gaming platforms like DS or Xbox.

I'm a Microsoft person so i'm gonna say stick to Microsoft but i do have a DS around.

It's possible, but Aveyond is too full of holes that you really have to wrestle long and hard with what you get in canon to get something movie-worthy. There's too little actual material and too much holes in the setting and plot that I'm convinced what the fans have in mind is mostly their own creation from them filling in the blanks with whatever suits their fancy.

That aside, Aveyond is still not big or well known enough yet. It's unlikely a movie will be even be considered anytime soon.

Eh, we'll just hope Amanda gets hold of a good engine soon so Aveyond can be more widespread. THEN we can get our movie

A while. Amanda is still torn between RMXP and Unity for AV4 as far as I hear. I have to say I don't blame her. RMXP is such an easy engine compared to some others. I'm still bashing my head over Ren'py.

I know exactly what Aveyond 4 needs - a Hercules cameo. The real one, mind you. Was dissapointed by the ending.

I was actually relieved that "Hercules" turned out to be a darkling. God only knows I was really angry with all the things he did...

That makes sense. If the annoying Hercules is a fake, but book about Hercules has been distributed long before Mel starts being involved with the prophecy, there should be a real Hercules out there somewhere.

Well, people started out wondering if Hercules would be a playable character in AV4, then it kind of divulged.

Back on topic, I personally hope there will be a playable witch in this game (we always have the witches, so I think we can assume they'll show up again). The witches always appear, but you can never play one (no, Gavin doesn't count - he's a warlock, not a witch). I'd LOVE to have a witch in the group.

Me too. Witches always make things much more interesting!

I am excited. I am thinking I don't like the chapter system very much, it seems we wait just as long or longer for the games anyways. I liked the way things used to be. Oh well.
