@binas: You've said that in this thread already. Also. Your post has spoilers- can you PLEASE hide the things that would ruin the episode for someone? It's only been a couple days since it aired- some people may not have seen it yet, and you just ruined a major plot point!

Those are just Bolin moments (where he is a little crazy or does something childish like placing his hands between his legs needing to go to the toilet). Nothing to do with the plot. Same with Korra and the makeup. The plot of the episode has not even emerged yet.

Oh, and watching Kuroshitsuji II today (though I've had the DVD years ago). That Alois brat is just spoilt.

Meh. I personally don't like seeing Haruhi being with Tamaki because he's a complete idiot. This is the reason why I enjoy the first few volumes/episodes (in which Haruhi was still being cold/indifferent towards him) better.

Aside from a few exceptions, I don't usually like Animes- but Kuroshitsuji anime had taken things to a whole new low. Not only does the presentation of the characters are completely different from the mangas, the events of the anime is nothing but a load of nonsense.

I've only watched the 1st episode of Kuroshitsuji II so can't really tell. But I really did enjoyed watching the 1st one though. And never had tried the manga version.

And I dun get why...people regard "Tamaki" as an idiot. Why?

I never watched the Anime of Kuroshitsuji, to be honest. But I read and enjoyed the manga- and lost any interest in the anime when I learnt how completely different it is from the manga. Like how movies love to mess up when adapting a novel, I hate it when anime adapts a manga and adds too much unnecessary scenes for the sake of drama, non-existent ship teasing, and stuffs like that. Strangely I don't mind too much when movies does this to a long-running comic series like X-Men or Fantastic Four, because with too much crossing over with other universe, time travel and stuff that I could barely comprehend what's actually happening in the comics.

Anyway, I watched a few episodes of the second season because I thought it would offer a whole new alternate universe by featuring a different demon butler-boy pair. Ultimately stopped when Ciel took over again, though.

About Tamaki... people calls him an idiot because he behaves like an idiot. What else would you call a high school guy who goes flirts with almost any females but otherwise have the personality of a hot-blooded 3 year old who constantly throws tantrums and sulk over little things?

To be fair, Kuroshitsuji is fine if you don't get too pissy about the fanbaitness of the whole thing and enjoy it for guilty pleasure. I still love me some pretty boys, and Undertaker is mighty fine

Re: anime --> Bad quality animation ticks me off. There's a lot of places where the movements are jerky and stiff. I just... it boggles me. At least the character art is decent. Toboso Yana's art is apparently simple enough to animate as opposed to Saiyuki *shudders at the memory of Gensomaden's bad art*

Re Kuroshitsuji 2: Claude had been one of the only reason I tried it. Stoic expressionless butler in eyeglasses = LOVE Ditto Rogue about dumping when Alois and Claude are just there to obsess over Ciel again. Gary Stu much?

Re Tamaki: There's only so much stupid you can pass off as being funny before it stops makes you laugh and starts being annoying. Tamaki's over-the-topness gets old really quick. It stops being funny and starts gravitating more into stupid territory. And then it's really annoying and I just want him to EXIT STAGE LEFT NOW.

@rogue: Agree with DC/Marvel comic stuff. Characters have been running around since WW2 or earlier. The shenanigans that has happened in the universe is really mind-boggling. There's crossovers, multi-universe, alternate universes, overlapping continuities, cloning, so on and so forth. I can't tell inaccuracies if I don't even know how "the correct way" things really work are like.

Bout marvel/DC: Don't forget all the reboots and retcons. And a lot depends on the writer at the time. For example, Batman can go from being a pink wearing jerk who spanks Robin for his birthday to Dark Knight anti-hero in a couple of issues.

Re Kuroshitsuji anime: It's not only the additional fan baiting that bugs me (though I don't like anything that spices up the romance), it's more on how the characters are portrayed so differently from the manga. Oh, and the new characters they've added are plain annoying. Don't like them.


Re Tamaki: Yeah, his antics are becoming an overly-long gag that he pisses me off. Haruhi finally falling for him is the worst though. After constantly getting annoyed by his antics, why should she return his feelings? He only likes her for her appearance anyway. Thank goodness the anime did not have her officially hook up with Tamaki.

@KTC: then I suppose the same goes with anime/manga adaptations. When a fiction work is adapted into something else, the writer is not the same, so the character's personalities might differ (though not as much). Anime and film adaptations, in particular, seem to enjoy flanderizing the characters to annoying proportions.

I am so laughing at this. I saw this in a dream of mine. I guess fans have fan made dreams of Legend of Korra (not trashing anybody but just stating my humorous dream).
