today is nice,isn't?......however.we know,this is a place for Qs and As.so i'm here to write my question:

you can see huge of trees in this forest and RMXP's tilesets don't have something like this.i want to know how to make it.daeva_agas helped me a little but i need explain some more.if this is possible for you,make something like this for me.....with some guide to how to make it

You need one set (4 tiles) of the repeating pattern in the middle of the "forest", and then one full individual tree to trim out the edge of the forest.

Unfortunately, the only full tree on the screen is covered by your cursor. Can you recapture with the cursor somewhere else?

Then, you repeat the pattern for the middle area on layer 2, fill in the extra pieces (trunk, edge, or top) using individual pieces from the full tree, using layer 3 for the forward-most parts.

If you replace the capture, I can split it into individual tiles, and show you how to place the tiles.

I'm not exactly sure what more help do you need. It's not rocket science to take a tree and arrange it into the giant clump like I showed in this picture:




1) Take picture of tree.
2) Copy tree 11 times. Use multiple layers if needed.
3) Arrange trees to look like the example.
4) Test tree on map. If something looks weird, go back to Photoshop and fix the tree clump.

Or you could do it the VX way:




1) Take picture of tree.
2) Copy tree once.
3) Split one tree in half horizontally.
4) Split the other tree in half vertically.
5) Make a square/rectangle.
6) Place left half of tree on the right edge of square, right half on left, top half on bottom, bottom half on top (so the straight-cut edge meets edges of square/rectangle).
7) Get rid of the square/rectangle template.
