Well, the same problem in the old site has transfered to the new site.
I need to login almost every time I reenter this website. In the temporary forums I didnt have this problem. Are you aware of this problem? Is there a solution? Thank you.

Do you have internet cookies enabled? Did you check the "Remember me" checkbox next to where you log in?

There is no remember me button, I think.
Maybe now it works, I don't know. I will see tomorrow if I need to relogin.

I have had to log in every time I've come here as well.
On the old site, just before it was lost, Bryce had managed to set it up so you didn't have to log in unless 72 hours had passed. Perhaps he can fix it so it's the same on the new site.

The temp forum had the option to remember you as well.

I don't have to log in everytime i come here...
Try to look at your profile, in the very last option, you could store your username in a cookie for about a year.

I selected yes and saved changes.
However, if I edit again my profile, I see that no is again selected.

I dont know if it will work for everyone but I fixed this problem with myself.
First of all does everyone like me use Favorite? If so sign in and when you are at main page add to favorite again it will ask if you want to over write. Hit yes and when you hit the favorite tab it has you signed in. ![]() Victor

Will the website cookies be fixed anytime soon? I noticed that the username/password doesn't save if you leave the site, even if you check the 'store info in a cookie for 1 year' button.

I have the exact same problem.
Oh well, I am already used to writting my nick name. Luckily, I have windows to complete my user name. But from the many times I typed my user name, some times I pressed enter too early and it saved the partial user name. So now I have to write more of my user name for it to complete. Eventually I will need to write the whole user name! ![]()

It doesn't work for me either, and sometimes I'll try to read a topic or something and I will get a 'page can not be displayed' screen.. when I click refresh it kicks me off the site and I have to log in all over again. But it's probably my lame computer

Bryce managed to make a fix for this JUST before the site was lost last time. It may be something he can take care of again - I've no idea what was involved.
Sometimes when I come I'm logged in automatically, sometimes I have to put in my details.

Shaz, I am never logged in automatically, even if I mark for it to remember me.
I don't have this problem on other websites.

prob the internet space is not enough, or it requires some kind of other coding, [action=user+password//login_user/auto_logoff=cancel] lol. if storing it in a cookie for one year doesnt work, then what? other sites stay logged on until you decide to log off, maybe it requires an IP address?
edit: sorry, almost double posted, but the thing is, AM does run on, well, cookies. you see, if you did not logout before you opened up a newinterenet to log in, then, even if you type in the wrong password for the user that was still logged in, (i.e. was t67uiiop when did not log out, yet is tyring to log in right now)then it will login, as i've tried before and it worked, although the situations may be different.

I am logging in amaranth.
However, I noticed that I get the notification "Incorrect login", but it logs in anyway. It may be related to my problem that it never remembers my log in, even if I set the option to remember my login. Any idea what is going on with this?

it tells you "incorrect login" but it logs you in anyway, without asking you to retype your user id or password? Does this happen every time?
I think the option to remember is a bit buggy, and I have a funny feeling that there's one login screen in particular that's not working properly (at least I had a few issues with it a while ago where I'd put in the correct user id / password and it'd give me an error), but I've no idea which screen it was... I have the main forum page bookmarked which I think bypasses that screen.

Well yea, it says that and logs in anyway.
Sometimes I try to login and it won't login. And only on the "Dedicated" log in page it would log in. But this could be due to the fact that windows completes my password for me, and sometimes it might remember a wrong password, in a specific screen. Although, sometimes it does log in on the first time I try, but then it says "incorret log in".
