I just saw the trailer for the new Harry Potter film and it looks amazing-I absolutely can't wait to see it. Of course I'm equally as sad to think that the films will be over and done with soon...it's almost like when I closed the last book (only not as tough considering the books are way better). I wonder what life will hold for the Harry Potter actors after the movies are done-I don't see Emma Watson having any trouble getting parts but any thoughts on the rest of the cast?

I hope it will be good. I mean, the fifth and sixth movie were total downers. They focus too much on stuff that are actually pointless. Five was too heavy on Dumbledore's army and Six was too heavy on the romance. I've learned to not complain about stuff being cut out but... they could've done a better job at choosing what to cut and how much focus needs to be put in certain aspects of the story.

@d_a: I agree with your remark about the 5th and 6th movie. Since the difference between the book & movie increases everytime the movie is released, I'm kinda scarfed of watching the 7th (now that I've read the whole series, I know when something's wrong). The wikia even said that in the 6th movie, there's an additional scene that isn't even mentioned in the book. How bad is that?

@rogue: That's definitely an example of too much artistic liberties taken. I probably would kick up less fuss about the 7th movie since I haven't read HP in... about two years and I've forgotten a lot of it, but I think I would still know what's not right.

I don't think the cast will have any trouble getting other jobs - they're all a pretty talented bunch.
I mean - I just saw the Eclipse trailer and watch the DH trailer straight after - the difference is incredible. In Eclipse there was a lot of constipated faces and intense stares, and in DH it there was emotion, action, excitement - there was real acting!

I haven't watch 6th, and I don't remember a thing of book 7. so should be okay... i think.

Hi fans! Jk. not my fans but HP's. i'm not a member of the club but i'd like to share. The newest movie's trailer is out. They divided the last book into two parts. Seen it yet? They're all looking maturish and... dirty. haha.

@d_a: I don't trust trailers anymore. They seem good, but the actual thing sucks. A little off-topic, but last time, I watched the trailer of Narnia: Prince Caspian and it seemed good. When we watched the actual movie, all we saw are fops going in action.

@rogue: Well, compared to the fail-fest that is Eclipse, I'm pretty sure it would still be better. I will be able to tolerate the movie better because I've forgotten the details, only a general idea of what happens so I can't complain about chronology muck-up or the artistic liberties they took.
