Hey
I was playing my game...and suddenly the characters just wont go left....they will move everywhere except left.
I restarted the game and still the same problem...what to do now....???

Have you guys gone through the keyboard input script for RMXP to see if maybe one of the variables, etc... isn't set correctly?

we don't have a keyboard input script

That's all RMXP default behaviour.

Sorry, I guess I should have been more clear. I meant the input sections of the scripts which are the standard for RXMP regarding game input.

I haven't looked at them closely, but could they be tweaked to deal with this issue?

It's typically the support for Gamepads which can mess things up.
Sometimes pressing left again can solve it. Sometimes a restart.
Sometimes you have to go into the control panel and mess around with the Game Controller section to get it to work.

thanks guys finally it worked...although that time i started and restarted, loaded and realoaded the game quite a few times....but then i tried using it after two days and it worked...maybe i guess it needed rest cuz i was playing continously for a long time...lol

I'm in the Mirror Cavern and Mel who is the leader is walking on her own without me using the arrow keys?! Also, she won't walk right (the direction) when I use the right arrow key?? Is this supposed to happen or is it a bug? It's right after I gave up fighting Medusa (when Edward joins) and I'm trying to get out. Help!

So I was playing, and all of a sudden it did this freaky thing.. it was like I was constantly pressing the left arrow button. Rhen walked to the left until she hit a wall and I couldn't move her anywhere. Escape wouldn't do anything, so I had to forcefully close the game.

I started it again, first trying to go back to that same place, but she was still stuck against the wall.

So I started it yet again and went to a previous save point. She could now move normally, and I thought everything was fine, but then I hit Escape to save again and Escape didn't do anything. I thought maybe my Escape key went out on my keyboard, so I exited it again and tried my Escape key on other things and it works.

I don't have a clue

Using Build C on Vista.

Thanks for the link - that solved the arrow key problem, but my escape key still won't work..
