I like a lot of bands, but right now it would have to be Megadeth that's my favorite band.

Man, those Backstreet 'Boys' still around? Wow. I used to like them as a kid. When I was going through my boy band phase.

Now I'm going through an eels phase (which has lasted for almost a decade now). And I like Simon&Garfunkel, and Snowpatrol as well.

Definitely Evanescence. The guys from the other school used to call me a freak because I listened to Evanescence and more, to Rock. Gosh I hate that kind of people, I meant what's their problem? You listen to what you like!! And.....and I think I'm totally out of the subject...Yeah I like Evanescence, Linkin' Park and Green Day. (in order)

Wolf - that's strange, I thought Evanescence were rather popular among teenagers?

Mae - XD similar here, I loved Backstreet boys about the time they were beginning! I think I was 10 or 11? I liked one of the first hits called Quit playing games

There are more bands and singers I listen to, but these are my most favourite ones. ^_^

I think a good portion of us like boy bands when we were little. I know I did, and had a crush on some of them. And to wolfie_girl I hate that too. People used to stay away from me because I'd listen to Rob Zombie and other bands. It's really stupid and immature if you ask me. I know a lot of people who like rock/metal music that are really nice, just like I know some people who listen to pop are nice.

I thought Evanescence was fairly mainstream now, as well o_O;

For me, right now, I'd have to say Anberlin and Paramore. Anberlin's latest album had some really awesome songs on it - I don't think there's any track on it that I don't like. And Paramore just has really catchy tunes XD

Yeah I guess it does depend on your generation. But like you when I was younger Boy Bands were popular.

I live in a place where the most popular music is turbo folk (Wiki it), so I'm proud to listen to bands like Metallica, Pantera and Iron Maiden (in order XD)
