This one I got from Argoyle

For side by side pics instead of under one another

at the beginning of a line add <*table cellspacing=10> minus the * before your first pic. 10 being how far apart you want them. For my pics I use 2 if you want your words under each pic as I did the number is much higher mine varied from 40 to 50. Once the first pic is center and the rest are not I use white .'s to space the rest so they center and no one sees the .'s.

Before every pic put <*td> after every pic put <*/td>. When you are done with that line and are closing the line close it with <*/table>


So a false line will look like minus the *

<*table cellspacing=2><*td>[*img]picture or words[*img]<*/td>><*td>[*img]picture or words 2[*img]<*/td>><*td>[*img]picture or words 3[*img]<*/td><*/table>

If you want to see what it looks like lined up just goto my cottage I have some started.



If anyone else has something to add or I messed up PLEASE TELL ME. I also would like to see more codes I could play around with.

here's a tip for people posting tips and code for others to copy.

When you click on New Topic, or Add Reply, the Options at the bottom have "Enable html tags" checked by default. This means when you want to show someone how to bold something (for an easy example) you have to go to the trouble of typing <*b> and <*/b> then explaining to remove the *.

If you UNcheck that "Enable html tags" box, you can type it just as you would in your cottage, and the code will be shown exactly as it's typed - like this:

<b> ... </b>

Another way to show the text for code is to use code tags.

[*code][/code]

Put that around your code (without the *) and your post will show the code and not turn it into whatever it represents.

I have spent ALOT of time experimenting with different things sence I have had alot of time on my hands...

I started with my scrolling text at beginning of my cottage. Now I kinda did this backward I kept bgcolor FFFFFFF which is white and all looked awsome. When I did my cottage background I had a white border arond everything. I searched and search and found instead of bgcolor=#FFFFFF I used color: #660000 and border disappeared.

The code I am putting should match what ever back ground you have.

This is my Scrolling text and you can put what ever you want as your image.

<MARQUEE width=550 height=91 behavior=SCROLL scrollamount=5 direction="up" color: #660000

</MARQUEE>


This is my back ground this was hard....



from http to to gif leaving " on each side change to whatever pic background you like.

Now I did not make these code so I can not take credit BUT I spent hours learning them. I will continue to play around with my cottage and add more stuff.

If I did anything wrong can someone with experience go over it and tell me? TY and I hope I helped a few out.

That is what I started out with but playing around with it I made mine. With mine you can make it bigger smaller wider thinner AND change the speed of the scroll... but ty keep it here maybe it will help some one.

Can anyone give me a code that will change the mouse pointer in my cottage? I have tried a few, yet they don't seem to work...but I would like to hear from anyone that had any success.
