Uh using your brain more makes you get more brain related diseases? That doesn't even make any sense.
@Meroko I guess it's an American thing. British do love linking their words. ![]()

@Ivana: I have checked the Oxford-dic on my laptop. And both British and American seems to have the same pronunciation "fla-wah" though BR one sounds a bit unclear and short compared to Am.

british often shorten the words a little....that makes understanding somewhat difficult.

The Urban Dictionary has a definition of "mumble-jumble".
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Mumble%20Jumble Is this what you mean? Or is it this one: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=mumble-jumble

Anyways, Since this year I had to take a 3rd language, I chose French over Sanskrit & German. French is so damn tongue-twisting! -__-

@An: Ugh, French. It's been torturing me for 5 years. The grammar is fairly easy but the pronunciation kills you.
Well, I'm currently learning Swedish, French and Russian (I also have German at school but I don't bother with it) I love Russian. It sounds so sweet.

@Sou: You want to mean that Americans sometimes don't speak clearly?
Jumble is just a word to rhyme 'mumble', am I right?

@Sui: I know. The grammar's easy. But I just can't wrap my head around those pronunciations. >.>
--- I was wondering is Bonsoir one word or is it Bon Soir. Because the teacher taught us Bon Soir, & I'm reading Bonsoir everywhere. ![]()

@An: Well, I write it as one word. My teacher's French and she's always written it as one word but I'm pretty sure it's correct both ways.

Thanks Sui!
Our teacher said that vingt was like Vang - like the English vang pronunciation. And I was pretty sure that's not right, since every French word is twisted up.
