Well, Downey's bearable to look at, but he's Pattinson-level ugly to me, so.
Robert Pattinson hates Twilight and yet the fangirls still fangirl over him. Ha.

@D_A
Downey's wayyy better than Pattinson. Pattinson's face just... has this weird angle. Iunno how to describe it but the angle looks weird in all of his Twilight series posters. Maybe the chin?I guess it's the attitude and not the looks that I like about Downey. I love him in Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes (esp the latter). ![]() edit: I wonder how Myer takes it? Oh wait, she prolly doesn't care at all. She's raking in the $$$!

*sigh* it seems that these days, people only care about money, money and money. They'd do anything to get high profit and don't care how people responds to their questionable methods.
This seems relevant, despite not being a movie Re character attractiveness: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" I guess? I don't think those two aforementioned characters are handsome, and I can't understand why fan girls swoon over Loki either.

Loki? The attractive ones in The Avengers are clearly Black Widow, Captain America, and Thor, plus the random secret agent girl who wasn't all that important.
RE Robert Pattinson: I think he was good-looking in HP, but he looks awful in and since Twilight. Too bad. Anyway, Natalie Portman is, in my opinion, the most beautiful woman in Hollywood. I'm not sure about guys, though. Most of them are less pretty (you know, relative to their gender) than the girls. =3 @theAdept_Rogue: "These days?" You mean always. ![]()

@Ivana: Wellp, I don't care about looks so much as how the character was portrayed either, but I'd still reflexively say "OMG SO UGLY!".
Re Loki: Delusions + delusional fanarts + friends excitedly fangirling --> drags innocent bystanders into the fray. I have to admit I almost got caught. At first I thought Loki looks so weird. After encountering a few fanarts of movie!Loki? I thought the guy didn't look so bad after all. Not to the point of me fangirling and screaming "OMGSEXY!!!", but whatever. I do prefer Loki over any of the Avenger guys any day. When Loki is not wearing that ridiculous helmet of his. Cap'n America? Bland. Iron Man? Bleh. Thor? Sparkly poofy fop, ewww. That guy with the arrow? Yuck. I apparently have a bias against blonde men, unless the alternatives were worst. I'm wondering if Rob Pattinson makes himself look as messy and ugly as possible out of the movies to make the fangirls go away...

I just watched Prometheus yesterday. It's a prequel to the first Alien movie. And I liked it. It was pretty good. I saw it in 3D, not sure I really like movies in 3D. If you're a fan of the series, I'd recommend seeing the movie.

@Mopiece
Does the movie have anything to do with the Greek myth? RE Loki: I think I remembered his face in the trailers. Katy Perry does have a lot of "look a like" face (heck even one of my cousin kinda looks like her, but younger and more tanned).

Prometheus is the name of the spaceship in the movie. We also learn about mankind's origins/creation, which also relates to the Prometheus myth.

Just found out there's a new movie coming out soon called 'Wreck it Ralph'. It's a disney(/pixar?) movie and it revolves around video games; which is good because only us gamers are gonna get the inside joke.

I saw the trailer for that and I'm pretty excited. I liked seeing the "Villains Anonymous" meeting with Bowser and all the others, and Disney movies have been great recently. I'm just a little bit worried by all of the famous actors they picked to voice the characters. I'm afraid that they'll be too distracting. I hope I'm wrong, though.

Huh? How does the actors' voices affect anything? Maybe it's just me and my not giving a darn about who is voicing who because I frankly CAN'T TELL. Like, I had no idea Alan Rickman voiced the blue caterpillar in Tim Burton's Alice and I had a double-take when I saw him in the press photos, thinking "Alan Rickman is in the movie? Where?"

@iPink
Yeah, I liked that villain anonymous. I'm not fond of some of the actors, so I may wait until it comes out on dvd. @d_a Some actors are just not good at voice acting.

'Wreck it Ralph'?
Ah, I saw the trailer in 9gag a few months ago. I think it's about video game villains (Mario monsters, Pacman ghosts, etc) having this sort of meeting/talk show; and one of them (the one named Ralph, I believe) decided to quit and becomes the hero instead, or something.

Same with d_a here. I just can't picture the voice's identity when I'm looking at a different person.

@Mopiece: Well, iPink was worried that famous people voicing the characters will be too distracting. Unless they're SUPER HORRIBLAAAH at it, I don't think it really matters if they're famous or not.
