Some people just have really distinctive voices, which is distracting and makes me think of some other character instead of the one I see on screen. For me, Zuko on Avatar: The Last Airbender was distracting because that same actor did the voice for the main character on a Disney Channel cartoon that I had seen first. The same thing happens with other things a lot of the time as well. Also, as Mopiece said, many actors who are normally fine completely fail as voice actors.

Meh. For me, as long as they don't slur or speak with unintelligible accent or screwed up tonality, I really don't care who's voicing who. I've watched High School Musical several times, but I never realized it when Zac Efron voiced the main character in The Lorax Movie. Or that Taylor Swift voice the female lead of that same film.

Eh, don't think too much. Your ears can play tricks on you sometimes.

So yeah, unless it's something really terrible like a Chinese-looking character having an Indian accent, who the voice actor is shouldn't even matter.

Watched Men In Black 3, The Avengers, and Prometheus.

Prometheus = eh, mediocre. There didn't seem to be much of a storyline and the special effects were nothing special. Only thing good about it was the last minute of the movie, for reasons that would be spoilers.

The Avengers = I liked it. It dragged in places but for the most part worked. I liked any scene with Black Widow. Dang she can kick butt. Favorite part was when Hulk gave Loki a well deserved beat down.

Men in Black 3 = Surprisingly, I enjoyed this a lot. It had the same vibe as the first movie and didn't take itself too seriously while still delivering something good. First time I enjoyed a third part of a series.

HP: Azkaban - It was a nice movie but not as much as MIB. The style of it was different from HP 1-2, unlike MIB3 which I feel followed the same vein as MIB1 very nicely.

POTC: no. Far too confusing.

Narnia: didn't even watch past number 1.

Blade/anaconda/scorcher: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Blade is nice, but way too much similar to the first part.
Anaconda is good.

Bah! Ice Age gets lamer and lamer with each sequel. Three is boring, and now they have a FOURTH one coming out.

Generally unless something is written to actually have a sequel, like HP, the sequels tend to fail. I rarely see a sequel that is as good as the first one, with the exception of Cars. Cars 1 was meh, Cars 2 was better.

Ice Age 1 was good. Ice age 2+ = no good.

Best sequels are Aliens and Terminator 2.
Best tri-quel = MIB 3.

Ehh... In those sort of bad sequels, the producers thought they could attract more people if they re-use characters/settings from an already popular fandom, and they seem to have the conception that we'd be too hyped over the characters and setting that we won't notice if the story sucks.

The Harry Potter film series start to degrade in quality (and accuracy to the books) since the third installments- they abandon the story in favor of bling-bling effect and pointless drama. Pirates of the Carribean stopped being good after the first movie.

Best sequel IMO is LOTR series.

Eh, LOTR doesn't count to me since it's a trilogy so it has to have at least 3 movies anyway. Sides, while I liked the movies I wouldn't watch them again. Too long.

Alien/Terminator/MIB/etc. don't have anything to rely on when it comes to sequels so quality tends to go down.

Alien: 1-2 rocked. anything else sucked.
Terminator 1-2 rocked. Anything else sucked.
MIB 1 and 3 rocked. MIB2 sucked.

My roommate loved Snow White. I'll have to go see for myself later, though.

MIB3 was a good movie, yes, and I agree that Snow White was drop-dead-boring. I didn't even bother to see it all, I just got up and stepped out of the cinema when it got too boring...
But MIB, yeah, that was nice (funny at some moments too). I'd recommend that.

Anyone watched 'Brave'? The animated movie by Pixar, I think? I want to watch it but some comments would be nice.

Prisoner of Azkaban was bo-ring! The first 2 were the best.

Also, never really got to see The Matrix, Star Wars and LOTR series. I remembered watching them when I was a kid and fell asleep. =v=

POTC series - might be good if you read the books first.

Never watched Ice Age/Shrek after the second installment. Didn't have time and didn't interest me enough.

@diamondmist: Is the movie even released yet? It's not playing in the cinemas here...

But... ACK! Why is MIB3 only playing at 11.40PM???
