Which reminds me. You cannot do this but theoretically if you sneeze and don't close your eyes the pressure will make your eyes pop out from their sockets.

And, building on that, the common cockroach can survive up to a month with no food and water after its head is broken off from its body.

The smallest animal in the world also has the biggest appetite: it's the mouse-like shrew. One variety in Northern Europe called the "least" shrew, which is rarely longer than an inch and a half, can consume the equivalent of it's own weight every three hours. In fact, the appetite of the shrew is so voracious and it's metabolism so fast, that if they don't eat for two hours, they might starve to death.

The Artic tern has the longest migration of any animal. Winging each year from their nesting grounds in the Arctic North, to the Antarctic and back. Terns make a round trip journey of nearly 25,000 miles.

@ Tei - No need to apologize
I guess I knew it was remotely possible to sneeze and keep your eyelids open, but it's not natural. And I guess I didn't explain "popping out" well enough since I know that they're attached to your brain...I meant "popping out" as in just coming out of the sockets, not all the way off. Thanks for the corrections (and Mythbusters is a great show ).

On that note, the shortest verse in the Bible is "Jesus wept." Can't remember exactly where it is, think it's in John in the New Testament.

there is a type of lizard that are ALL girls. and there are insects that only produce a male when they need one. don't remember what they're called though.
plus, one person will always have to give in when something like this happens: "Give me my hat and i'll get you some chicken" person 1, "I'll gice you your hat if you give me some chicken" person 2. this was a real conversation i juust had with my dad a while ago. i eventually gave in though, i'm hungry!!!
