You could buy some Holy Scrolls from Stormbend. Or maybe you should level up more. But I think lvl 16 or 17 will do.

And the blizzard ring would be useful! Cause Heptitus summons frogs. ( From Istir Forest, or Stormbend, I don't know exactly ).

She can both curse and poison your party, so I would advise you to put Serpent Amulets on everyone. Being cursed may reduce someone's attack power until they are healed, but at least they won't be losing HP.

Use Mel's Trip skill on Heppy every couple turns, to stop her from attacking.

Use Te'ijal's Drain skill to both hurt Heppy and heal Te'ijal.

Cursed also reduces your defense until they are cured, so in my opinion, it is even more lethal than Poison since the enemy would be able to hit you for way more damage. I suggest that putting on Toad Amulets would be better. Or carrying plenty of Witcheye Root.

Yes, I did have plenty of Witcheye Root on hand.

Marsh Teas are cheaper than Witcheyes, so methinks that wearing Toad Amulets and carrying Marsh would be better.

Well, we agree that the main point is to wear amulets that defend against one of those status ailments and then carry a lot of restoratives for the other status ailment.

If you hatched the spider egg, I'd go get some.

I think Heptitus is immune to poison

I'm not a big fan of amulets, the steel boots raised the defence by 6, using an amulet instead dropped my defence stats overall. Everyone in boots at level 19.

Spider eggs take out the frogs almost immediately, and I think I did poison Heppy too a couple of times. I don't think I managed to curse her.

If everyone was okay, then everyone hit Heppy. If anyone was cursed or low on XP, Mel usually was doing the least damage so I used her to heal or remove curses and poisons. I had Stella in reserve.

The strength boosters all went to Galahad.

Good fight, but not impossible. She'll be tougher later on.

If Stella has the Cleanse spell, I would equip everyone with Curse amulets and keep her in active so that she could heal. A lot of people like going all-out offensive, but I always like a healer in my party. Stella is a powerful healer, so I will definitely have her.

Unlike *cough*Dameon*cough* whose healing spells are waaay too weak
