@Charmed: You can choose for Mel to end up with Edward if you want in the game. Although, I've read in the family tree that it might be canon. I'm not sure since that might change...

It gets me a bit curious about the ending in GoN. Might as well wait for the game to come out.

Questions:
Where can I find the family tree? Does anyone know exactly how many "series" there'll be after the Orbs of Magic series? Will Mel ever develop any more than two skills?

Also love Mel. She's one tough chick for someone who's not a fighter!

Right now, Mel only has the two skills, but she may learn more in future books.

So Shaz, on the page BEFORE last page you implied that we did not get Lydia in Gates of Night. You said we only get Ulf. Or did you mean the only character GoN we get that we don't have an interview for? I REALLY want Lydia. Those stupid unobtainable dresses...

She meant Ulf is the only character we haven't gotten an interview for. From what I can gather, yes you will get Lydia in GoN.

Sounds exciting, I hope this one is a little bit longer.

Yes that is correct. Shaz's answer in post #106 was in response to post #104, which asked if there will be interviews of characters from part 2. shaz replied that Lydia's interview is already out, but Ulf's is not; she mentioned both the characters in the context of new characters in Gates of Night. So yes, Lydia and Ulf are the two characters who shall join Mel's party in Gates of Night.

I am having so much fun playing Lord of Twilight, i cannot wait until part 2 is released! Great job everyone, love all the new improvements!

It's probably too late to add anything serious to GoN (I certainly don't want to make THAT take any longer), but to make Mel more interesting in skills, maybe she could develop the ability to STEAL new skills from other characters and/or enemies in certain circumstances? That would fit with her character, if it's done well, and isn't too easy as well as limited in what she can get...

Of course, she could also learn skills like she does the abilities she gains in the spy tree-schools. Wow, this really is making for some great anticipation - I can't wait for GoN!!

I am really excited about the next release as I would like to finnish the game I started in Twilight. I was kind of bummed to only get half or even a quarter of a game- great game, just way too short. Although I'm sure Amanda has her reasons, this Aveyond game reflected some laziness as far as lack of content goes compared to Aveyond 1 and 2- at least the price was cut to reflect this. I hope in the next game we get to finnish the quest of finding all 4 keys?
