At first I was thinking about coming to post count down once a day but since there is a warning then I won't.

I kinda thought that the vibe was so good here that everyone is so excited and waiting for the release -- to be honest apart from saying that I can't wait and very look forward for the release date, I don't really know what to say... well I'll just go and wait quietly in my corner then.

Phine, you misunderstood me. Vibe = good. Over-the-top-every-few-hours-posting-I-CAN'T-WAIT is a bit spammy. And you can always start a countdown topic elsewhere (SH perhaps?).

It seems like sometimes there is a little over-moderation when it comes to things like staying on topic, etc... Threads have a life of their own, they evolve.

If you mean what AV1 did, I think the answer probably is "not likely", since most of the BGM of GoN is in .wma format.

I think it's safe to say that just about everyone is excited that GoN will be released soon, there doesn't need to be post after post after post of I'm so excited! or X days until... If you feel the need to do that, why not go to spam heaven where you can spout off?

Also, all opinions are subjective. That's why there is a heirarchy of Administrators, Moderators, Guild Members, etc. If there weren't any rules or rather guidelines it would be total chaos.

Yes, Aveyond: Gates of Night is still Aveyond 3. Lord of Twilight and Gates of Night are a part of the same series.

Beta testers will be getting a final release version of GoN to try out very soon!

So, if I understand correctly Ulf will be introduced in GoN, will he be in other chapters? Sorry if I didn't see it before in his interview, does he have a large part in GoN? Will all of the other main characters be in it as well? (I hope this is the right forum... If not I apologize).

Also, is there a forum/blog/teaser, something that gives a basic outline of the story of GoN?

Yes, Ulf will be introduced in GoN. And yes, the same characters from LoT will be in GoN.

You can check the Amaranthia Staff Chatter blogs for basic outline of the story, though it spans both games.

Here are things you will do/see in Gates of Night:
- You will obtain all four quarter keys and make it to Naylith
- You will face Gyendal in battle
- You will reveal Stella's past
- You will meet the Oracle in Aveyond
- And for those who have longed to see Galahad escape Te'ijal's grasp ever since Aveyond 1, you will get your answer

There are MANY more places to explore in Gates of Night than there were in Lord of Twilight, and many more quests to do along the way. This is going to be one fun ride!
