Please help! I want to download the goodies for Ahriman's prophecy, but I don't know what a ZIP file is, or how to create one. Please answer! Thankies! :thanks

you just download them. unpack it. And put in your ap main folder.

Yes...So I download them, right? The window tells me they're downloaded, and then I open a new file in the game, and nothing. I don't have a folder for game goodies, and I'm not sure how to make one.

You don't have to create a new folder. Just move the files in the goodie file into C:\Program Files\Ahriman's Prophecy, or wherever you installed AP.

A zip file (archive) is a container with one or more files in it. A zip archive is a popular way to distribute files over the web because:

a) you can download one file instead of several files

b) when you put files into a zip, it shrinks the size of the files inside the zip archive. This allows you to download material from the web quickly.

The first thing you need to do is get a Zip utility. This will allow you to use Zip archives (create them, and open them). Here is a free Zip utility that I found on the web:

Once you have installed this software, do this:

1) Go to Amaranthia and download the goodie. Make sure you download it to your desktop (or somewhere you can find it).

2) Go to your desktop (or wherever you downloaded it to) and right-click the zip archive that contains the goodie.

3) Extract the goodie to your desktop (or your choice of location).

After that, follow the directions to install the goodie (look on the goodie page on amaranthia for instructions... or in the text file often provided along with the "goodie".
