I actually used the hint button after aislingyngaio told me where to look. I couldn't remember the seed but it was (highlight below):

Well, I got the corn but where is the collar for the bird? And by the way, where is the shovel or whatever I need to disturb the dirt where the pedestal was in the queen's north garden?

The collar is in the treasure chest in Queen’s Garden... use the needle (found in the gazebo) on it. The shovel is at the right side of the haunted cottage.
