From the beginning of the RPG game AVEYOND, I am really amazed to its story. The characters, the scenes, the villains, the background music, I really love them all.
I was thinking that it would be a Blockbuster Hit if it would be at the Movie Theaters. Like the Harry Potter, Twilight Saga, and other Movie Series, this would take the World by Storm! Moved to the Village Square. ~Mopiece

yeah, i had to agree
![]() i'd definitely be one of the first people to see the film if ever it will be a movie. but then again, making it a movie will.. i dunno.. lose its essence as an rpg game haha..

No, no, absolutely not. After all, if it were made into a movie... well.. where would the Lars v Dameon debate go? XD The good thing about RPGs is that there are choices
![]() And please, do not group Aveyond together with failures like the Twilight Saga.

yes, i had to agree about the debate about Lars and Dameon and especially the last statement aisling
i dont want it to be lined up with that.. gee, Aveyond is way far from that (man, i always agree to things, don't i?)

Even if a movie would never get made, I had fun adapting AV3 into a script for my ScriptFrenzy project. I need to finish it.

twilight fail + aveyond = abomination = HECK. NO. >_<!
Aveyond as a movie: would be interesting, though after seeing how night shyamalan somehow messed up The Last Airbender horribly, i would be cautiously optimistic about such a film.

I don't know. Making it into a movie would have advantages and disadvantages. It will lose it's essence...and not to mention the fact that almost all of the monsters will be eliminated. What will it be, a monster per area? That's take away half the time it takes! And what about experience? It's not like it'll be total 'I-can't-beat-a-spider-oh-look-I-beat-the-boss' right? Anyway, it'll totally take away the fun and thrill. It'll be...boring, to say in the least. Sorry.

though a movie would also take away the necessary evil of grinding for gold and exp, one of the things I do not like to do on AV games as it gets incredibly repetitive and boring.
And monster would still be a big part as reducing AV's plot down to a bare minimum is Hero killing the monster of the game. AP= defeating the monsters guarding the relics and ultimately Ahriman AV1= defeating the daevas and ahriman AV2= snow queen AV3= gyendal So a good team in theory could make AV an excellent fantasy movie. With movies like Willow and dragonheart, there's a chance.

I agree with both sides of this! The story line of each game is so good, and it allows so much personal interpretation so we all see it just a bit differently.
I might not like the way a movie intereprets it. I did not care for the way the movie 'Dune' interpreted a great book. And I REALLY did not like the movie version of Avatar - The Last Airbender. But i love the Harry Potter movies and I love the Lord of The Rings movies even though the ending is all wrong. I guess I still don't know what I think.

And with a movie, it might be easier to see interactions with the characters, like between Rhen and Dameon(blargh) or Rhen and Lars. And it could have the 'canonical' ending, and then alternate endings on the dvd. ^.^

@Ashen: I KNOW!!!! Amanda would have to provide the movie team with the "proper" ending and then the script writer would have to adjust the people's interactions to suit the provided ending and stuff like that. Maybe if I see more interaction I wouldn't hate Dameon so much. Maybe.

@KTC: YOU SAID WILLOW?!?!?! That's an awesome movie!
But . . . . would we REALLY have to have Rhen marry Dameon? Bleah, that would suck.

Well, maybe if Dameon's hairdo wasn't so terrible in the movie, I could somehow deal with the ending (even though Lars+Rhen = ultimate must)

Yes ktc - I do exactly mean that 'Dune' lol!
![]() That is why I don't know if a good movie could be done that would hold my attention. Perfectly good directors have been know to make perfectly awful movies. I think that the reason batman and Superman and XMen work as movies is that they are already srtongly written stories in the form of comics. The strength in aveyond games are the story plus the game-play. I would see it, but what if it was like Final Fantsy VII - Advent's Children - a great movie IF you played the Final Fantsy VII game and ALREADY understood what the heck was going on with all the 'mother' stuff and Sephiroth.

@Connie, lol, I was Clueless about the whole ‘mother’ thing, while watching the movie FF7 – Advent children, and now I know why xD
______________________ As an anime movie – maybe/maybe not, as long as it’s Amanda who does it. But as a real- live action film – Where the heck will you get the actors from? xD Someone (?) has got to play Ahriman, Te’ijal, Rhen, Lars, Dameon, Elini, Galahad, and Pirate John (AV1) Moreover, they’ll be real live people and have to protected 24/7 from their fanatical - infatuated -head over heels in love - besotted FANS & the Lars vs. Dameon thing will get a lot worse XD Plus, none of us really know their exact ages either :p
