In Aveyond 1, My sister was struggling to defeat Agas. So I decided to be a nice sister and help out.
She then overwrote her save outside of the Dreamworld. And she couldn't get out.
She blamed me for not being able to get out. My question is, does she have the right to blame me when she overwrote her own save? I don't think she does. I never told her to overwrite that save, so why is she blaming me?
What's your opinion on this situation? Does she have the right to blame me?

Well yes, technically, she has the right to blame you. But she really shouldn't be blaming you.This isn't your fault at all. This is why we suggest saving in multiple slots, to avoid these accidents.

Oh, the over-written file hijinks. If SHE was the one who over-wrote her own file, she shouldn't be blaming you. It's her own fault.

And why couldn't she get out anyway? Monsters too hard for her to beat? If that were the case then it's not a very hard problem to solve. I mean, I beat Agas at level 35 and made it out just fine by dodging the monsters and saving the game every other minute or so. Unless there's a bug or a program glitch, there is NO REASON for a player to be unable to get out.

Mopiece, the reason she had only 1 save was because its my game, and I have a lot of saves in different places. So I only gave her one save.

D_A, my sister was never good at dodging monsters anyway. She has enough trouble dodging the chickens when shes going to Veldarah the first time, which is not that hard.

I think she got out, unless shes started a new game and progressed ridiculously fast. Or she continued from one of my 19 saves(She got the other). But I think she made it out of the Dreamworld.

Perhaps you should have allowed her to use more than one save slot. You have 19 and she gets 1? Not really fair, especially if you know she's not as good a player as you, and we ALWAYS recommend to have a few saves at earlier points. If she only has 1 save slot, where else is she expected to save her game except over that 1 slot that you've given her?

In any case, saving in a tough spot is not necessarily the end of the world. If she has traveling runes she could use those to get out. Otherwise it's just a matter of dodging around the baddies (there aren't really that many there) and making her way back to get better gear or level up a bit

For a first timer, I think you should have allowed her to save on many slots. You actually gave much pressure on your sister by just saving on one slot.

So technically, she has the right to blame you, but blaming won't solve her problem. Why don't you give her some suggestions/strategies.

Okay, I get it now. Guess I should have given her more than one slot.

Oh, I checked her save(save slot 5). She made it out, and just has to defeat Aesma now. I need to tell her where he is... Wait... I told her once...

"I just want to use my skudder. I don't need the dragon anymore."
"How will you go to Thais?"
"Do I need to?"
"I don't know how you will defeat Aesma without going there again"
"Oh, [censored]!"

That last bit was her saying something I can't post here.

Anyway, she's out of the Dreamworld, and is doing well in her game. I should have given her more than one slot, but she's managing. Although she is at a higher level than I was at that time...
So she doesn't blame me anymore. Like every other fight we've gotten into, it's not resolved, but we'll both forget it soon. Which means I need to go to another thread now so I can forget about it.

If you copy some of your current saves to another folder you could give her some more save slots.
