Hello Adventure !!

1st game? Pretty decent. Maps are well laid out.
The avi at the end freezes the game if you exit the player window. (I'm surprised it even played.)
Some of your events (i.e. in front of the chest) should be on the object instead of in front. If you try to open the chest from the side, you get the "locked" message.
The balcony exit events are confusing. I think it's a good practice to maintain direction when transferring from map to map. (i.e since you exit the bedroom to the right, you should exit the balcony to the left. OR put the door to the balcony on the back wall so it joins the house correctly.) This is just perception, but also an acceptable practice.
I would like to see more event interaction with objects (bookshelf, fireplace, etc..) even if they're 'red herrings' (not pertinent to the story). It gets the player more engaged, and used to looking at everything.

"Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong!"
