Er, not sure where to put this. I don't think this belongs in the "homemade games" section, but...
Anyways. There's this RPG called "Tales of the Drunken Paladin" (abbreviated as TDP) which is the most fun game I've ever played. You can download it for free from the Official website here. Just in case it's problematic, I've made sure that the creator is fine with advertising in forums like this. The hero is, obviously, a lulzy almost-laways-drunk paladin by the name of Anebriate who is the whiniest and not at all heroic RPG protagonist I've ever seen (he probably would've made Galahad cry). It kinda justifies him stealing all the money and stuff from people's houses because, heck it, he IS a big jerk. Unlike other RPGs where you just wander into people's house and just take money from crates or chests, Anebriate actually makes comments that shows he admits he's stealing the stuff and just shrugs it off (he actually says stuff along the lines of "oh well, nobody's gonna miss this" when he takes them). You can interact with almost EVERY SINGLE OBJECT, including boxes, paintings, sacks, cupboards, holes on walls, and even things on the table. There are secret bosses hiding among these objects too. They are super-strong, but if you beat them they drop extra-powerful weapons or armour. Also, there are money and items hiding in random boxes and sacks so you really do have to check every single thing for extra cash. You don't know which object is interactable and which isn't, so... yeah. There's a day-night system where the background turns dark and light according to a timer-clock and some shops actually closes at night and you have to sleep or wander around doing nothing until it's morning. There are also black markets that only opens at night so you can sell your stuff to them. You can pick certain flowers to make potions and you can mine certain rock lumps to get ores which you can smelt into bars for weapon-crafting in blacksmith's shops. Also, the best thing about this game is that it doesn't take things seriously at all. It constantly breaks the fourth wall and the heroes talk like people do in today's real life. There's a point in the game where one of the party members said something along the lines of," This is an RPG, so time doesn't pass until it needed to pass." There's lots of rather perverted and rude stuff in there so it's probably more appropriate for older audience, but if you don't mind that kind of thing just go ahead and play. Also, most of the facesets are just RMVX default RTP so it's kinda boring like that and the facesets don't change. You know, like in AV1 where it's just one faceset for the character and don't change by emotions? That is, except for Anebriate's occasional RAEG face.
