I was a dummy & didn't save at the end. I wanted to play through all the endings to see how they went. Even though I had Edward marry the Orc princess in a previous game, he still has to take a bride for some reason.

I chose Stella, because even though Edward really likes Mel, she would undermine his authority, make a terrible queen, & would always have Underlings following her. I suspect that she's also the Cabin Fever type. I thought Lars from Aveyond 1 was a decent match for her, but I thought Aveyond 3 would have taken place decades after Aveyond 1. Oh well.

So what happens if he proposes to Mel or Lydia? & will his mom marry him off to the Orc princess if he doesn't choose one?

Actually, he's not Lars from AV1 but his descendant. Yep, Edward's mom will force him to marry Belf if he decides not to marry any of the girls.

I suggest replaying (see if you have a save close to the ending) cause there's nothing better than seeing the different endings with your own eyes ;D

Not decades, actually, centuries. As for Edward taking a new wife; didn't you play tLO? SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T PLAYED TLO: Lydia pretends to be whoever you married Edward to, then later anuls their marriage. I'm not sure what happens if he doesn't choose a wife in tDP.

@CAT: Wrong game. Lika is way past TLO. If he proposes in TDP to either Mel or Lydia, they will be his wife. And yes, if he doesn't choose a wife he has to inform his mother of that fact, and Belf will then make a return XD
