I played the game well in the beginning but when I started to work on the Leopold Bistro quest game I can't talk with anyone or select anything with my 'space' and 'enter' key. But when I tried typing in Word, those keys were fine. Why is that?

Will it let you use the mouse? Is your keyboard connected by USB? There have been some problems with keyboards that are connected that way.

I'm using the laptop's keyboard. Yes, it lets me use the mouse. But it's very inconvenient especially when you want to interact with moving objects...

Have a look at this thread. See if those suggestions work. You may just have to use your mouse to interact with the character.

If you start a new game (be careful not to save over your current one), does the problem still happen?

ok. tried it out. I scanned my laptop and shut it down. when I opened it again, it works. maybe some system problem. thanks everyone! love you all! ^_^
