Does anyone in Amaranthia know if there is a game after The Darkthrop Prophecy cause i think it should keep going sounds like a fun series <3 Mel

The Orbs of Magic series is over. There will be another Aveyond, but it most likely won't contain Mel.

@Meroko HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT? Mel was the most awesome/awesomest character in the aveyond series. Plus it was really cool to look forward to another release.

Another Aveyond series is undoubtedly wonderful to aniticipate. But similar discussions have been done before, and ultimately, it's all upto one's guesses and imaginations, until the masterminds reveal anything XD
Any thoughts about "Curse at Twilight: Darkfall Manor"? owo It's getting my heart racing.

@general: Ditto do-not-want-to-see-Mel-again. I'd rather see Rhen make a mysterious comeback rather than Mel. I love Rhen. Plus, if Mel returns then I'd have to re-tailor my fanon to fit the canon and I hate doing that.
I, unfortunately, don't have insider info on Aveyond 4 because it's probably not even being thought of yet. Curse at Twilight is still in progress. I don't think anyone has the mental capability to juggle both this AND designing the new Aveyond. ------------------------ @Valky: Curse at Twilight? It has ghosts in it, wooooo~  It's definitely more fun than Gypsy's Tale, I guarantee you. That is, if you have played Gypsy's Tale.

Guys, guys...sorry But I have to say that I hate...well hate is just too strong word I guess..lets say...dislike when people say things like :How can you say that, Mel was the coolest character" etc...I assume that you haven't played any other AV or that this was your first one....for me the best heroine is Rhen..she was just too amazingly done..I'd love to see Rhen, Lars, Emma and Rye....those four rock ♥

What the new Aveyond definitely should have is MOAR CUTSCENES!
Seriously, that's where all "canon interactions" should happen. What people complain about the most is lack of interaction between the two characters who supposedly makes the canon pairing. The only solution here is to make more interaction scenes/cutscenes with all pairing options so each have decent amount of on-screen interaction together with the main character/whoever gets to choose a pairing. I mean, look at the problems in AV1 and AV3. The majority of on-screen interaction is Edward and Mel in AV3 and Rhen and Lars in AV1. Yet those are NOT the canon pairings. That's not a twist, that's just trolling the fandom. Or a failed Jossing because the only reason so-and-so is canon is because of Word of God. Look at Lars VIII. That's just so much of a bad cop-out that Gyendal/Mel almost, and I stress almost, makes more sense than that.

@Mopiece: And we need them. Otherwise people are gonna get mad over lack of interaction again
 Implied interaction is not going to gel over with the players who care about the plot, as we've seen with Dameon/Rhen and Edward/Stella. It's fun for ME because I can fill in the holes however the heck I want, but some people don't like that.
