Well, We came up with Survival games but they often involve horror but always zombies.
Why not a scenario involving pure Survival, Stealth, creating all the necessities, new concepts on traps, No towns to visit and get gear [which implies you have to make it all.] and so much more. I can imagine a entire continent uninhabited by man. No form of a human or other racial society other then animals, beasts and outcasts both real and mythological, The species is left up to imagination. You as the player, i guess we will introduce he is either male or female, Must hunt within this continent for strange events and happenings. Though your left with nothing but with a crude sword and armor. Here are several Mechanics i can think of,m starting off with: Revives Ahriman's prophecies live-Action battle system. No more being placed within a instance taking turns, your on the move and must have the ability to keep on the move. This will make more sense later on. Crafting: From potions, gadgets, armor, weapons and other unique or common items of all tiers, you have to gather materials from fallen beasts to be able to get what you need. Traps and Survival: Introducing, which will enlighten why you need to keep on the move, is devices that can be placed and activated to ensnare foes or weaken them. The same can be applied for ones already placed or integrated in some places in some parts of the continent. Several include: -Shock traps: I wont spoil how their made but they will give a idea. These can be made to successfully capture a monster/creature/etc for taming, shipping off to any continent for the highest bidder, or just to stun a enemy for the moment when you need the chance. Over all this device is for capturing specific large targets when they are weakened. Alone however wont work, they will only be rendered unable to attack and will attempt to work themselves free. Same can be said for the-- -Pitfall trap: Automatically softens the soil underneath and fires a camouflage net over itself to hide itself till a target walks over it. When a target is caught over the trap, they will be dropped into the ground at waist level. Purely for capturing purposes. And again while the creature is stuck, they will take double damage from all range, magic and melee sources, be unable to attack but will attempt to free themselves. making this tool, when used correctly, a opportune time to get close and let loose some real damage. These traps can only help successfully capture a weakened creature alive if you use-- Tranquilizer: They can be used in a handheld grenade, spell or a ranged projectile. Depending on the monster it may take more then one tranq to be able to capture them. However, these tranqs have no effect on smaller creatures or a large target that is still healthy. -Turrets: Heaven forbid right? Well their not to be relied on but their handy in a pinch. Some fire when a target crosses the line of fire. Some turn on a pivot and aim for the nearest target within a range limit. Some require the target to be real close before unleashing some hurt. Turret vary in models as they do in functions. Several examples are: -Magic Turret: Can be mounted with a crystal containing magical properties. some explode to damage enemies when they are close. Some fire magical balls either with a natural or elemental property. Some even cause illusions or among many other things. Magic is limitless in its uses but they require brief cool down before they use their function again when the requirements are met. They are high damaging turrets. some creatures however are resistant or immune to magic. -Turret trap: standard Mechanism with a fire arm mounted onto a stand. Sometimes with a auto aiming function, Some fire when the enemy has tripped a wire or has come within range. They range from high fire rate, to sniping to cannon. Standard Turrets have limitless ammo, and are not as expensive to make but are weaker then the other two turrets. Some creatures however are well armor to a point they are resistant or immune to standard bullets. -Death trap: They dont really cause death... in most cases. But their melee weapons or old fashion traps for causing significant damage but requires the target to real close to the trap. Some are mounted log traps, others are saws, pendulums, or swords that swing down when a pressure plate is activated. They cause the highest damage next to magic, but they take a much longer time to reset for use again. However, turrets are from easy to difficult to destroy depending. there are hundreds of different kinds to be made and though their not to be relied on entirely, they make a different between a successful or unsuccessful hunt, life and death. Some turrets have high damage but are fragile. Some are very very difficult to destroy but have weak damaging capabilities. You can take down your traps anytime as needed but when setting them takes a varying amount of time to set up. Integrated ones are sometimes destroyed under some conditions or along the story, but in general they cant be destroyed. Some cant be disabled and require the ability to know when to avoid a trap by some means or set it off using something else and take that time to get by it before it resets. There are much more, and when it comes within someones interest, i would like to be involved in the discussion of what items, armors, weapons, etc will be added. Next is: Survival- Unlike most RPGs, there is no towns. no other people around but if any, very few people and times to interacted. There is barely any roads or pathes, and its free roaming so there is no set pathes. There are monsters, and creatures out there who will harm or eat you, depending on the creature and if their out right violent or are willing to eat anything. You have with you only what you have, and you must make use of your environment, the bounty all about, and a deep understand and study of the creatures, monsters and other wild life here. Some are actually quite aware of humans and make great partners, but that relationship only with those few might change if you hurt any of their kind. Some might no be one big terrifying creature but some have the ability to know when your several maps away and will proceed to hunt you down instead. [Irony] Some are neutral until provoked or if you intrude in on its space, kill, or mating session. Some are violent and will attack on sight. some will be friendly as stated but some are fragile and quick to anger if met with bad decisions or actions. You will have to rely on the natural vegetation and all its bounty. hunting edible creatures to cook for later. Meeting with extraodinary creatures unlike anything you ever scene. watch how they interact with their surroundings. how they hunt. how they communicate with their kind. And what their natural abilities are. A Neat line along normal hunting when you need meat in your diet is the decision whether to use sleep darts to capture them alive so they stay fresh till you wanna kill them for making a meal. or kill them where they stand and the food has expire limit. Hide in many places and you might be surprised on what goes on around in one place or another. You might come across and witness strange events or see creatures you would never find from just running around and attacking everything. There is a day and Night feature. Some creatures, monsters, natural vegetation or things that come out during the night rather then the day. when you go out to hunt. keep in mind in some places during night or day can be more dangerous then anywhere else. Putting on camouflage that matches the surroundings is another way to hide safely from eyes. sometimes you gotta put on other things to hide yourself from some wildlifes senses. Some can smell if they cant see you. Some may not see you hiding but they might have thermal vision. Some are blind as a bat but can listen for you. The many wildlife creatures here have their way of surviving as well as for hunting. There are many different terrains on this continent to suit the wildlife on this gigantic yet lonesome continent. Come equipped for the appropriately for the situation. Some terrain whittle your health away from extreme health. some cause status effects, some will cause conditions to be so cold, you will lose stamina over time. Next is: Armor. Armor comes in sets from the parts made from fallen foes or material gathered from them. Say their is a monster that has super strength, wearing the full set made from its part might endow you with it. Some for swimming, some for a natural resistence to the heat or cold. Armors come in colored coded teirs. From white is common, to Orange is highest tier. Maybe some of higher teir. Some can be worn with mixed armor parts to unlock unique abilities. Weapons: Weapons do damage from Melee, range and magic but they come in two Material Categories: Iron and Bone. As Weapons are used in battle, they slightly wear down with use, if they get real dull they will do less damage, and sometimes bounces foes [extremely weak damage and delays you from attacking for a bit since you were thrown off.] Iron material used to make a weapon has higher durability but are slightly weaker. Bone material used in weapons are less durable but have higher damaging power. Iron is expensive to make and difficult to gather. Bone is cheap to get, some parts however rare to procure. These weapons sometimes come with elemental or status attributes. Like they can do either fire, ice, water, thunder or earth damage. Some even cause the very power Dragon element. Some can cause paralysis, sleep, poison, maybe even weaken their attack or defense. Armor of some kinds often provide immunity or resistence to some of these elements. -Fishing: some fish are needed for crafting armor, weapons, gadgets or ammo. There are many species and require the right bait or method to fish them out for use. Foraging: Self-explanatory, some items needed for any crafting or to fill your tummy to keep going can only be procured from searching in many places. Perhaps in a pond under a small waterfall. Maybe a already dead carcus, a plant or maybe from a mining spot. maybe a hives nest, From cobwebs and what not. Explore and check your surroundings. The resources always respawn after sometime. Some take longer to respawn then others depending on the item. Mining: Again its obvious. some tools needed for this are Pickaxes. Pickaxes allow you to mine material from mining spots, usually indicated from a crack in the wall, a rick ore vein on the floor or a mound of a crystal substance on the ground. Most spots are found in caves, deserts or in the sea along the floors and the walls. Maybe right next to water falls. By now this really gives the idea for exploring, and memorizing where to get the stuff you needed. [P.S. The tools for Fishing, catching bugs as a part of foraging and Mining come in three teirs. Rusty. Normal and Mega. Pickaxes have a chance to break with use. Higher teirs reduce the likely hood. same is for bug nets but for fishing they get consumed either way if the fish snatches the bait or get a successful catch. This is for balance.] -Money: There isnt, as you defeat foes, sometimes you may get Scraps, Scraps is the new money system. only its basically essential for crafting. Some unique items dont count as scrap but are highly valuable for trading for some things. Scraps are the bones, bits, teeth, sacs, fur and such off a creature that is fallen. They are needed for crafting just about everything. even if you have the right material, you need enough Scraps to make it all happen. -Creatures: Just your natural wildlife. Some are aggressive, some are passive to a extent. some are even friendly do some pretty neat things, like attack anything that attacks you or them. follow you around, or even wonder around, exposing spots and locations you'd never find on your own. -Monsters: They have some behaviors like the creatures, but their obviously branded this cause they stand out different from the animals. They in many sizes, and like the creatures, they have a range of behaviors. Both Creature and Monster alike sometimes may have sentience. Allowing one to communicate to it or interact with it on some way. Other then that its rare. A example of a few creatures can be put below to give the better example: -Rabbit: common creature up for hunting. Can be used in many recipes to make a meal or for cooking it all by itself for a meal. -Fox: A Creature that scavenges and is clever, often then not hunting for small prey. -Pig: A wondering creature that eats things it digs up from the ground using its snout, Often observing one where it stops to dig might be a spot where to forage. Their meat is also succulent. -Tiger: A Dangerous beast, Will only attack anything on its territory and can be a big threat to prey and unprepared intruders alike. Their pelt is exquisite though. A Example for Monsters would be: Do'rouj: A Tiger Wyvern. That prefers tropical and spacious surroundings. They use strong attacks and have high agility, being able to dive at their targets from the air, and wall jump off surfaces for quick attacks if their near a wall. Their difficult to approach at close range so unless your really skilled at upclose combat to avoid its dextrous attacks, its better to use traps or attack from a distance. Mel'raine: A pig with vegetation growing over its body. They just like the Pigs of the earth, but they have a fondness for eating Fungi. Use them to locate various kinds of mushroom. Dolojaire: A Mocking Bird Wyvern. A beautiful monster that expand the sac on his chest with air, and change the size of its beak to produce the sound of any creature or monster it has come across with, course they do this to summon help from other creatures. Naturally passive and prefer to eat fish and love natural and hot climates and surroundings. Wairo: A Giant raptor that is a rival to the Dolojaire for territory and prey. A Large raptor that descended from a species of Avian raptor, though it lost its ability to fly. Its almost always surrounded by its younger peers. Its intelligent enough to be able to coordinate its younger species in the heat of battle so it puts up quite a challenge, expecially for beginners. this particular creature makes strange howling noises when alerting its pack to any threat and for issuing commands. Waire: small young species to the Wairo. Wairo are the full grown and Alpha male stage among its kind. The Waire tend to act tough then to become a serious threat. Often the not they will bark constantly and making threatening poses, and rarely attack. however in the pack of a Wairo, they can be a threat. Waira: More mature female of its species. slightly bigger and more mature then the Waire, they will attack appropriately when the threat is present. often then not though they will often curl up and bask under the sun and check up on their young or the alpha male. -Leveling: You dont level however, but you can rank up as you take down foes, earning you "Hunting points". You earn more from capturing large targets but dont get as much material. You get less from killing a target but more material. As you get higher in rank, you can wear more different kinds of armor, and you can go to other places. Your health, Mana and Stamina are always a set 100. Some armors, drinks, meals and magics can increase them slightly or significantly. The maximum for this is 150. These creatures wont have God like powers and abilities but they are unique. Health and mana are self explanatory. Stamina however let's you do among many things. As you sprint you chew through stamina, even for Jumping, pushing something aside or when successfully blocking a attack or collision. Stamina naturally regains on its own. however the maximum amount of stamina decreases as you get more "Hungry", and by eating food, you can increase the maximum amount of stamina, allowing for a longer period of working and hunting. Stamina regains naturally as you walk, stand still or rest. Ranking up also let's you do more things like make trophies for display. increase the size of your chest for storing. Unlock new stuff for trade. Maybe unlock new monsters and creatures to discover. Taming: Very few creatures can be tamed if you intend to keep your captured foe. Though you can only have one at a time, they each come with their own usefulness when out on the field with you. They will attack a enemy they see, however through many tough battles do they get stronger, and might unlock new abilities the natural creature or monster normally doesnt have. Keep in mind some have their cons as they do their pros, some are loud. some attack targets on sight, some run away and keep their distance, and will come back when the battle is over. Dont worry. Pets dont die. but they will "Go home" when worn down to a extent or defeated, which you will have to go back to your campsite to get it or some other creature to go with you. keep in mind they were defeated and their health reduced to zero, it maybe a day or two till they recover. -- And Thats all i could come up with. Further can be discussed on when there is any interested.

I don't see why you can't make a game request. There may be people out there who would like to make a game, but can't come up with their own ideas.

Just making sure~ ^^
I did not know either i had to request the idea and get started on it or request and get help. I have no patience. So i leave it up to anyone willing to take the idea and make it. Sadly i wish i had more patience and the know how on how to make a game or even script scenarios or functions as needed.

Have you tried going through some of the RPG Maker tutorials? You don't need to be a programmer.

I think that most of the people who know how to use rpgmaker, already are working on their own game.
If you would gather a team to work onj this project, and everyone is seruious and committed, i might be intrested

if you really want this project to work, you'll need to gather several people.
Basically, everyone gets assigned to a certain job, and they do what they're told, they don't have to agree with every detail of the game, as long as they like the game in general. I'm pretty sure that even when they made ethe aveyond game, everyone who worked on it would have liked this or that extra feature, a different map, or what not. All you need to get started is a strong enough belief in your game to be a success, and maybe not to high epectations sicne it's the first game. Tons of people will be willing to help, you will actually have to be picky in who you want inyour team I think.

Level of difficulty would be nice like easy, intermedite, or expert modes. That would allow everyone of diffrent strengths try it.
