Hello! I am stuck after the first tower, everywhere I go It says "I don't need to go there". Can someone answer me please? Thank you.

In the southeast there is a bridge beyond a river.Leftsides there is a little path into the mountain where you have to go (and to stuck ?? like me because I don't find the exit) Hope it helps

I played until I got out of the cave. After their conversation, it said that the rpgss2 player stopped working. Help!

Hi Sewnsew. Unfortunately this has happened to one other customer and the problem ended up being something on their computer. They ended up having to play on another computer.

You can try updating your windows, your directx, and your video and sound drivers. Also, you can try changing your DEP settings as well, as they seems to fix a lot of RGSS player errors.

Also, do not forget uninstalling and re-downloading and installing could help as well.

Hey, thanx for the advice. Unfourtanely it didn't work. I only had this labtop for a year. I did all you said, but it didn't work. Can you offer any other advice?

Sorry that didn't seem to work, as I'm not sure what else to try at this point as that seems to be the only thing that could be causing the error other than something on the computer.

You could try download Spybot Search and Destroy and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and cleaning out your computer of any malicious programs/malware. Malware can cause all kinds of problems to take place.

Are you sure you changed your DEP settings properly? This issue is usually resolved by that step.

Which OS are you running by chance?

What is a OS? Just to let you know, my DEP settings is allowed to all programs. Ohh, I am using Windows7.

Try this Sewnsew.

Go to Control Panel, choose Performance and Maintenance(Or choose SYSTEM if that icon is available)

-Click on the Advanced Tab(might say Advanced System Settings off to the left side.)

-Click Settings under the Performance section
-Click on the Data Execution Prevention tab

-Click "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.

-Then click Add, and go to the directory that my game is installed and click Game.exe to add it to the DEP exception list. Then click APPLY, then you should have to reboot your computer for the changes to take affect.

Also, could you tell me when -exactly- it crashes? Is it right after he walks off the screen? Is it before or after the screen fadesout after he walks away?
I need to know the exact time it happens so I can try and pinpoint the problem. Thanks
It's strange, I've had one other person report the game crashing at this one spot, and they were using Windows XP. They had to switch to another computer that had Windows Vista to get it to work.

All the other customers and testers haven't experienced this problem and I'm really baffled as to what could be causing it.

It is when the screen fades out after the talking scene when they get out of the cave.

Did you try the step above that I listed about putting the Game.exe into the DEP exception list?

Hi Katrina. Depending on which version of the game you have, its either in your %appdata% folder(Start, run, %appdata%, Roaming folder, Prodigy of the North)

or

its in the games installation directory. Which would be wherever you chose to install it. Default would be Program Files/Prodigy of the North

I have played the trial so far and like the storyline. The world seems interesting so far and the game play is enjoyable.

There seems to be mouse control and keyboard options.
