| How to make NPC name appear near mouse cursor? | #1 | ||||||||||

I saw something like that... somewhere in a screenshot in Google. I think I found the mouse script, which is credited to Near Fantastica and SephirothSpawn. Thing is, I'm not sure how to implement the mouse script without messing up the one I already implemented. I initially used the one shaz posted and already modified it a bit. I don't know if I had to do anything else to fit the two together.

Doesn't the script Amanda posted show you the NPC name? I'm pretty sure the latest one I made available does, and includes instructions for how you need to set up your events to show it.

Huh. Maybe I wasn't paying attention to the instructions. I know I have to put the arrow shape as a comment, but what about the NPC name? I don't think I saw it.

The NPC name is also a comment, on the same line (it should be the last thing on the line).
I'm not sure of the required format - it might just be \name[abcdefg] but check the script, or the demo, to be sure.
