It looks like a platformer game almost, but can't tell anything with just this screenshot.
I like the style. It's that simple graphic style that would totally fly so well with iPhones and iPads and Androids. Looking forward to it!

I like the inviting nature of the photo. It should be fun to explore. The little text clip makes the game sound even better.

It's not a platformer, there will be monsters, and it's definitely a sandbox game. More details to come in the following weeks.

Hmm, not a platformer, but looks like a platformer. Interesting.
@ DA, I'm not entirely sure what a sandbox game is, but what I gathered when I asked once was that it was an open-ended game where winning isn't as important as building your . . . stuff, or something like that.

One of the most popular sandbox games around at the moment is Minecraft. You get an area to work in, and tools to work with, and what you do with it is up to you. You set your own goals.
I'll be interested to see if this is a VERY open game, where there ARE no goals, or if it's more of a thing where you HAVE a goal, but how you go about achieving it is completely up to you. I'd like the second one better - I like games where I know I've done what needed to be done, and I've "finished" them.
