I had Aveyond 1.....and the fonts on startup weren't there, except Aveyond title (no menu).....so I updated to build B....but still have problem. Also tried RPG maker 2000 patch file (font_patch.exe - found it somewhere in here)......but still no menus or text.....help please my hammer is coming closer to the computer!!!

The font is a standard Windows one, so you likely have it installed on your computer unless you've removed any yourself.
I suggest you completely uninstall the game, then try installing again (of course from the same location where you originally purchased it, if you're not still on the trial), and let us know if that makes a difference.

Yeah I went back to stupid bigfish and re-downloaded game - still no writing in menus to dialogue boxes.....any idea which font I maybe missing...so I can hunt a download down???
