Yeah Shaz and Oracle said that html is disabled here. It's only allowed for fairs/festivals etc in the fairgrounds as far as I know. Too bad some backgrounds would make the clubs stand out.
This is a great idea though. So, if we were to create a playlist on playlist.com we are only allowed to post a link to it, not the play list itself? I'm I understanding that right.

Awesome idea!! I'm thinking of creating some kind of playlist related to Japanese music (since I seem to have accumulated several songs on my iPod that are in Japanese >_>
![]() LordMaeglin, are we to just follow your example? I'm also a little confused as to how this works.

@LadyTwilight & Aeternus: I am glad you are interested. Ok, I have talked to Oracle and Playlist.com is Ok, as long as you follow these steps:
1)You cannot have an auto-start playlist. 2)The playlist color must be gray (don't want them to be destracting) 3)You still have to include the names of the songs and artists above or below the playlist widget in the post. This makes it easy for people to copy the name right out of the thread and put it into a music/normal search ingine. Another issue, since making a new playlist every couple of weeks is tedious, just add the new songs to the top of the existing playlist. that way you don't have to make a new one, yet the old songs are there so that people looking at previous posts can still find them. And I still want people to only add 10 songs a week, because that will give other members time to look at everyones songs without being overloaded by too many I hope this has cleared up some problems ![]()

So I assume we're putting them in our cottages? (guess I'll finally have to get off my lazy bum and make one XD)
What's this about posts, though? Are we posting in here, as well?

@ Aeternus, no we are posting them here
@ serendipity: thats the reason why we aren't posting them here @ LadyTwilight: No. If you want to make a new playlist, feel free to. After all, for an account on Playlist.com, you can have multiple playlists. @ all...This is getting a little complicated. I will give an example. Also, I am changing the limit on the playlist posting to two weeks before posting a new playlist

My first playlist is themed for the summer. Enjoy
Listen HERE SONGS 1)Summertime-Sublime 2)Amber-311...A very mellow song 3)I Wish You Were Here-Incubus...When Im on the beach, I think of this one 4)Sunny Hours-Long Beach Dub Allstars 5)Cherry Bomb-John Mellencamp 6)One Love-Bob Marley...a clasic 7)The Space Between-Dave Matthews Band 8)Red Red Wine-UB40 9)Summertime-Will Smith 10)Summertime-New Kids on the Block...I couldnt find this one on playlist, so I added a U-tube link. NOTE: I think it will be easiest to just put a link to the playlist page where your playlist is. I just realized you can't imbed your playlist + going to peoples cottages can be cumbersome, especially if they are slow to load like mine. Just put a link at the top of your post, something like "Listen HERE"

Welcome to the beginnings and classics of Rock, Pop and Country. Where we will explore the history and artists of the 50's, 60's and 70's. Settle back and discover the Rocky Sentimental Journey.
We begin with the ever lovedCity of New Orleans. Brought to us by Steve Goodman, who composed it while on a train ride to visit his family. He played it for Arlo Guthrie in a Chicago bar. Arlo began performing his rendition in 1972 and the rest is history. Lets take a look at Britain's Dusty Springfield version of an Italian song called "Io che non vivo (senza te)"You Don't Have to Say You Love Me. Released in early 1966 it was her only #1 hit. Who can forget this legendary hit? Rolling Stones #39 on the list of all time Rock and Roll favorites, from Buddy Holly...That'll Be the Day. Recorded in July of 1956, it's sure to remain a classic of the genre. Then there was the Day the music really Died. Don Maclean paid honor and tribute to that legend Buddy Holly with his famous song released in 1971, American Pie. Also on that fateful flight was the unforgettable Big Bopper, J.P.Richardson. Spark your ears to this 1958 tune Chantilly LaceIt played for 22 weeks in Americas top 40. We lost this young star in 1960. He met death in an auto accident while on tour in the United Kingdom. What a perfect time to celebrate this song from Eddie CochranSummertime Blues, released just two years before his untimely death. Who could ever forget this "True King" of Rock and roll, who set the country on it's ears in 1958 with Great Balls of Fire. Jerry Lee Lewis placed his mark on the music industry with his own unique style of music combining R&B, Boogie Woogie, Gospel, and Country. Lest we forget, here for the ladies of rock and country history is Joni Mitchell, with her memorable 1970's version of Both Sides Now. Canadian born Joni Mitchell, may stand as the most influential female artist of the 20th century. Here we have the unforgettable Janis Joplin. She died at 27 of a drug overdose in Southern California. She is ranked #46 on the 100 Greatest Artists of all Time. Here is her live performance in Stckholm 1969. Summertime. Remember her now for the blues she gave to Rock and Roll. And last but not least Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane, best friend of Janis Jopplin performing at Woodstock in 1969, White Rabbit She was an important figure in the shift to Psycedelic Rock. Join me again as we continue our journey through Rock.

Don Maclean's Buddy holly tribute is legendary, just like "great balls of fire". Hey, and I even knew about White Rabbit too. Great stuff, Oracle.
