Lullaby is a short simple story that takes time during the holiday seasons. No tension, nothing epic, and barely any dialogues - It is a short story told through a complete cut-scene in the form of a semi-music video with its original soundtrack (hence please play with sound on only). The short story itself is non-interactive, and took about 10 times the effort of The Mirror Lied to make. It does perhaps start off a bit slow though, so my apologies, and please hang on.

Due to the shortness and nature of the project, I find it unfit to summarize the story and the like, as you can basically do it in one line and take the whole story away. So if you got a moment to spare, give it a try for what its size and length is worth - but after you finish, do not delete your game folder and check back a few days later-

Oh, just a note on the scene selector,


Each scene will only become selectable once you've played through the respective scene once in normal sequence, so they won't work the first time you open it.

As for the trick - it has to do with the 5 files that are generated in your folder after you play through the entire thing. If you figure it out before I reveal it, shhh. (If you aren't sure whether or not something is what I'm talking about, then it isn't - if you unleash the trick, you'll most definitely know for sure.)

The story was so.. sad. Touching. Now I've realized more things, and I might write an essay about it if someone tells me to write something about Christmas. The soundtrack is so beautiful, the graphics are so awesome, and I didn't find anything wrong. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I'm gonna wait for the trick. on the whole thing.

Let me show you a magic trick:

1. Finish the short story.

2. Go to your project folder, you should now see 5 new files named Wirt, Naeryns, Marc, Song, and Laeril.

3. Right click each of the 5 files and open all with Notepad.

4. Match up the 5 file phrases to a complete sentence.

5. Figure out and do what the complete sentence says.

After you do that, you're on your own to figure out the last step - should be obvious.

If you have played and watched <The Mirror Lied>, you would also wonder on what happened afterwards.

I also played The Mirror Lied. I didn't understand it, and I was freaked out after playing, checking over my shoulder if anyone was watching O_O But then again, I was playing at like 2 in the morning..
