The forum rules are marked VERY clearly on the main page of this forum. I am tired of people choosing not to read them, to push them to the limits, or to ignore them completely. For too long I have been erring on the generous side and giving warnings.

That stops today. If someone here bends or breaks one of the forum rules, they will receive the appropriate punishment. ALL of the rules fall under "common sense and respect for others" but since some people have forgotten how to show those things, we once again need to point them out. READ THE FORUM RULES, AND READ THE PENALTIES FOR BREAKING THEM!!! There will be no more excuses.

And just to make things totally clear, the forum rules apply to ALL of Amaranthia - the forum itself, cottages, collegium, and Kingdom Chat. And any other part of the forum that I've left out.

Amanda goes to great trouble to search for and implement modules to make this site something special for its members. I will not allow a small minority to abuse them and risk having them taken away.

So is Kingdom Chat going away or not?

Or is it if someone breaks the rules again on KC, it'll go away permanently?

Or is it just to grab one's attention?

Kingdom chat is staying. Those who break the rules on KC are not.

It did attract much of my attention. I hope it worked on the other members as well. Thanks for posting this up, shaz! I hope those things that happened will never happen again.

I don't know how people forget such things. If they join a community, they are suppose to respect the rules of the community. Anyways, I am glad that KC is staying.

excalibur, some people just flat out don't care; they think they are above rules. I really dislike people like that.

yes aislingyngaio you are right. No people have same set of beliefs , likes ,dislikes. We should think and re think anything before saying because even after apologies things never get as they were before.

Mila, you should read them. If you do not follow the rules which are being given to us all, then bad things come out as a result. One example is that you could be suspended, banned, or be warned (if you don't follow them). Also, the whole site might come up to a chaotic state. But if you don't really want to read it, fine then. It is your choice and soon to be consequence.

In other words, posting even once anywhere on the site is tantamount to saying "Yes I've read the rules and agreed to abide by them." If you don't like the rules, no one is forcing you to stay.

I know that when I got to this site, first I read the rules, and that is a thing that every new member should do. And if you are a member and still haven't checked them,you should do it.

I got scared when I saw the title of this thread, 'cause apparently something happened in KC and me and a few more members are chating almost every day. So I thought that someone from us did something wrong O.o

No eveleny, without going into detail, the main perpetrator has been banned from the site.

This is a notice that the forum rules apply everywhere, and that people who choose to push the boundaries will no longer be getting warnings.

Most of the forum members are great and make good use of the facilities here. It's just the odd bad egg that makes it miserable for everyone else.

Well, I hope you put the bad eggs into the compost heap and keep them out of our kitchen. Thanks for all the good work you guys do here to keep this such a nice site for everyone!
