Hey guys, I just suddenly got this idea of a character in my mind. So, I hope you guys like it.
Isolation Prologue : In the heart of Zyntria, an old town is prospering just after the war which tore apart an estimated number of 2000 innocent villagers and peasants. People in this town were living their peaceful lives like the war had never happened. Everyone was happy, bards and gypsies dancing in the pub, vendors on the sidewalks. It was still a busy town, it even feels like nothing happened. "Did you hear about Elora? She gave birth to a demon!" A woman carrying a basket full of apples said to her fellow friend. "Yes! I even heard that the child has demonic eyes and snakes growing out of his back and things like that!" The woman replied. "Elora and that child of hers should be banished from this village, who would knew what evil will that kid bring us?" The woman replied back. Meanwhile... Looking outside from her window, a very beautiful young lass, her azure eyes and her long golden locks, sway with the wind as it enters through the window. She heaved a sigh... "I don't know why I even gave birth to that child. I was just looking for a being that will give me that unconditional love that I was wanting since I was a child." She said. "I guess that's the result of early marriage..." A voice said. The girl looked back and laughed. A tall man, whose hair is glimmering as the sun's rays pierce through it. His deep majestic violet eyes makes him more mysterious. "I knew it was you, Alden". She said. "Haha, but even though you said those words, you don't have any look of regret in your face, Elora?" Alden said. "Well." She said as she stood up from where she was sitting. She walked towards a small crib, and there she picked up the child covered with a white blanket. "I'm not sad or mad or anything. I'm just a little bit afraid of what's going to happen. I know this child will love me as his mother, but..." She stopped, looked down, and a teardrop fell from her face. "But?" Alden asked, as he held the chin of Elora, and tipped her head upward and looked at her eyes. Elora looked into the eyes of Alden, his eyes were deep, mysterious but at the same time, the sight was soothing. It makes her feel that everything stopped and the only people were them. "But, what if, people are going to treat him differently? Would he even enjoy the life he will have here?" Elora said as she continued to look in his eyes. "If our child is not happy, we can be happy by ourselves, we can always escape the harsh reality. And one thing is for sure, I'll always be there, with you, and with our child". Alden said as he kissed Elora in the lips. The kiss was passionate, Elora can taste a feeling that no one can taste but her. A feeling of trust and honesty. "Alden, I'll always be with you too..."Elora mumbled in her mind. Then, their lips parted. Alden took Elora's hands, and said "Elora, I need to go, but I will be back before night." Alden let go of her hands, and walked out the door. Elora stood there, with the baby in her arms. Standing there, waiting as the door slowly closed shut. Prologue End Writers Note : I'm not naturally born as an English speaker, so there might be some or maybe ALOT of wrong grammars and stuff like that. So please don't take it too seriously. ![]()

For a non-native to English, your skill with words is remarkable. True, there are some funky parts with the grammar, but I'm fairly forgiving on those aspects because as a whole it's well done. I like seeing a writer's voice come out as well as some compelling narration; you have both.
I like this story so far. I'd like to read more.

Thanks for the feedbacks guys.
, I appreciate it.@Vadon : Thank you so much. I'm 15, and about 50% of my whole life, I usually speak using the English Language. My life actually revolves around the internet. Since, at the the age of around, 5? I guess. I was already playing Educational Games on the computer, and my English skills developed quite good. As I grew up, I keep playing International Games, thus I was able to speak with a lot of foreigners. I'm glad you liked it. ![]()

I liked the story, it seems.. intriging. as for the grammer, yours is better than a lot of naturally speaking english people that i know, so don't worry about it.

Quote:
That sounds like it's based of "The Phantom of the Opera" by Gaston Leroux. It's a really sad story. On topic @ It's seems like a very interesting story. The characters are wonderfully described unlike some that don't even incorporate descriptions into their writing anymore.

Here's the next part. Thank you guys for the feedbacks, I appreciate them.
Isolation Chapter 1 Two-Faced Sitting in the middle of the room, Elora sat there motionlessly. Her eyes are staring at the door, waiting for someone to come in. The room was filled with silence. The baby, sleeping peacefully on the wooden crib. "Alden... Where are you?"Elora said. 3 Hours had already passed since the last time they saw each other. It was already dark outside, the cold winds filled the emptiness of the streets. Elora looked at the wooden, antique clock. It was already 9:00 PM. Usually, Alden is at home by 8:00 PM. Elora was worried sick. Her eyes was filled with worry. She stood up and walked over to the bed. She then lay there, alone and worried waiting for her husband to come home. "What happened to you?"... Morning came. Elora's body was bathe by the warm light of the sun. Her eyes opened slowly. The first thing she did was looked to her side, and what she saw was nothing she wanted. No one was there. She slept all alone. Still worried about Alden, she stood up from her bed, and walked over to the crib. There she saw, her lovely baby, still asleep. She began doing her daily chores. Fixing the bed, getting breakfast ready, cleaning the house. "I guess, I should start my day now..." Elora said to herself. She took a small broom, and start sweeping up the wooden floor of the room. She knelt down, and swept the floor under the bed. It was perfectly clean, until... She managed to sweep up a piece of paper. She opened up the paper and read it's contents. "Alden... Are you coming later? I miss you so much, why aren't you coming here anymore? Anyway, you are coming today right? I'll prepare your favorite food! Truly and Forever Yours, S." A teardrop wet the paper. Elora was crying, her heart was like stabbed. She couldn't believe what she read. Could the only person she trusted and love be someone who will betray her? Break her heart? The only one who's got a strength to fool her? She just sat there, crying. "H-how... How can you do this to me?" "Are all those words just a sign of pity?" "I don't know what to do now... I don't know..." Writers Note : I'm going to be away for a week, so I might not be able to update this. But then again, I'll try.
