I played the game for some time and it ended very quickly. But I enjoyed the story. I also liked the new battle screen. I always thought that how come Mel not know magic if she descended from Mordred Darkthroph.Can't wait to see her do magic.Now playing it again with goodies.

Waiting for the 4th book. Nice work Amanda.

My reactions to the hour trial (will buy full game later, i figured an hour limit would prevent me from wasting my day playing this instead of- aaaaaagh!- working)

(since I don't know how much of this is "spoilers", I'm whiting all of it, but it's only the first hour. It can't be very spoilery)


1. TT______TT Poor Mel and poor edward, too. I'm curious to see how this would play out with the ed/stella and ed/lydia endings, but as my computer crash made me lose my save files from 2-2 I will have to replay that to get those endings again and I just don't have time.

2. Thank you for canon confirmation that Mel and Stella are good friends =D

3. My poor Mel/Ed heart might be grasping at straws here (especially since the FAQ only mentions SPOOK attraction points DDDDD= ) But Mel's "too good to be true" line is among the first in which she explicitly states feelings for Edward! Too bad that's AFTER she pretty much dumps him. fglkfjgdklfjg.

4. I hate Nox very much already. (This is noooot your deeeestiny *SLAP*)

Thus far this game has been very enjoyable to play... I look forward to continuing it, maybe later this week. And am scared of the twists at the end that I'm hearing rumors about. Well. Scared/excited.

Is AV3_3 final chapter of series?

no it isn't there will be a 4 one atleast don't know if there will be more

nope. there's more to come.

Plans at this time are to have a total of 6 chapters, so that means 3 more to go, if that plan stays in place.

We know there will be 5. Not sure if it will go out to 6 at this point. They're just getting better from here

All I have to say at this point is that my feelings have completely changed for Lydia. I still hold out some hope for some (extreme) change of heart. That hope is steadily decreasing. But if we will not get Lydia back, we had better get another character that can buy dresses... =/

Well, I found this game quite enjoyable. It's the first game I played without maps and walkthroughs. I like the new battle system and the additions to it. Very nice. I hated that Mel lost all her weapons and money, but I figure the game would have been way to simple then. June's a cutie and Lydia is as evil as I always thought. I only played for three hours now, but I hope I'll finish it all this week. Oh, I saw all the beginnings. I liked the one with Belf. LOL!!!

Absolutely! Don't change

Just bought it, played for 6 hours straight, and I'm supposed to be up all night at work. Thank you for waiting until after Valentine's Day, or I would be in the doghouse. Great idea to begin the game. Love the new battle engine, and the puzzles are fast and frequent, the mazes are satisfying.
I would have had a single line of dialogue from the king refusing to allow Edward to run off with his sword, or threatening to only allow him to leave with the clothes on his back if he doesn't take the throne immediately. Explains the lack of iStorm or Excaliber.

yeah... at the end of 3-2 I was hoping for a change of heart from Lydia but I guess that's not happening.

I actually didn't mind how Mel lost everything. I mean, it was a letdown losing the speed charm and some of my other very favorite belongings, but I had fun scratching together the money I needed and once I got to eldrion money started popping up everywhere

I guess Lydia won't change. But then, I'm having a hard time with the worms!

@zasa: i find staying near the entrance and just leveling up here and there works.

Running is also a very useful technique.
