Could anyone tell me what the font is for Aveyond I? I can't see any of the text(words) being said in the game, so it is very difficult to play.(I have played before so I do know most of what to do, it just isnt the same without the words..)

I just installed Tahoma font, and I still can't see anything.. Any suggestions?

I'd try reinstalling the game. If it doesn't work, let us know a little about the system you're running it on.

Also, have you checked the Technical Questions forum, to see if there's been anything similar reported before?

Well I have come across this error before in another game, and the fix was that I was missing the font. So I checked around here a bit to see if I could find anything and had no luck. I'm running on Windows Vista home edition, and have no virus protection, so it isnt that anything is corrupt and being blocked by that.(Had that happen also). But now I'm playing another game, since I can't play this one, called Laxius Force, and it seems that Whenever I try to f12 out of the game it shuts the game down and then the font goes out when I try to reload it aswell. So maybe its my rgss dll's. I don't know .

I don't think it's a font issue, I think it's a text overlay rendering failure.

Go through the steps in the first post of this thread in order and see if it helps:

You can skip solutions 6 & 7 since they are meant to deal with a common audio problem rather than a visual issue.

If none of that helps the only thing that is likely to work is the second solution of the second post in that topic, the one that discusses the problem of a flickering screen. That solution should also work for overlay rendering failures.

Unfortunately, since you are running Windows Vista the solution as it's written in that thread will not work. It can still be done in Windows Vista, but it requires installing some additional software and is technically somewhat difficult.

I am trying what you suggest, and will comment on results later. Hopefully it will work

Hi. I have problem with AP, not with font but with screen. It is tiny and narrow.

I think it is fullscreen but if is not, how can I put it into full? I even tried going to AP 'Properties' and set my game to run in Maximed Window and chose 'Run in 640 X 480 screen resolution' but still not effect. When I turn off Maximed Window it's the same as when is turned on. Nothing seems to work. All other Aveyond games worked normally.

If someone could suggest something It'd be great.

F4 or Alt+Enter will toggle between full-screen and windowed modes. See if that does anything for you.
