I've defeated Ahriman and I'm back in Thais, I want to get John married, but when I walk into the chapel nothing happens. I've already poured the love potion and I bought the ring in advance, I don't know what's wrong...

Make sure you have the correct ring and Talk to the priest. The wedding is not automatically triggered just by walking into the chapel.

I did talk to the priest, and he asked who might want to get married (or something like that), but noboday answered...I've bought both rings already.

Are you SURE you've used the love potion? That's the only condition to at least get them to talk about it.

Yeah, if you just have the love potion in inventory it won't do anything. USE IT the way you would drink the food and mana potions.

I used the love potion, I heard that creepy voice, and John said something about finding Elini beautiful...but he also said it was crazy.
I loaded a previous game, turns out I have to pour the love potion exactly in the chapel... Merged post. ~Mopiece

Weird. You shouldn't need to pour love potion in chapel for it to work.

No, I just checked. You can use the love potion anywhere.
Could you have used it in one saved game, then loaded another where you hadn't used it, perhaps?
