First off, the twilight saga are the most amazing books EVER about a romance between a seductive vampire and a human girl. Intriguing, right? Totally!
The Saga are made up of four books : Twilight, New Moon, Ecplise, and Breaking Dawn. Breaking Dawn hasn't come out yet, it's going to be released this fall.
These books are kicking Harry Poteer's butt on the charts. (Yes, they're that good) So, I was thinking, there absoloutley HAS to be fans of these books on Armanthia. Has to be. So, I'm recruiting all Twilight fans!, we could set up a mini-topic just about these fantastic, wonderful pieces of literature!

Maybe have daily updates about the up-coming movie and book, links to videos, pictures, information, interviews etc.

Crystal (crystal-la) is an avid Jacob fan... I'm a much less avid Jacob fan. The books are good, bu they're not my favorites. *shrug*

OH, no. Mmmm. Jacob deserves to burn in eternal flame...or more like ice.

I have a friend who's mentioned liking it. They were only halfway into the first one though so they weren't really into it yet. Haven't gotten much chance to speak with her since.

My freinds and I have all read it at least once. I've read all of the books a couple of times. And we all agree that if Edward doesn't bite Bella in the next book we are going to hunt down Stephanie Meyer...just kidding but yea, my favorite charecters are Jacob and Edward lol, it would be really cool to see them fight. But Alice is my favorite girl.

From memory, the site is either canon or original characters. They have a list of canon characters that aren't taken on the site, unless you wanna make up your own character.

I bought Twilight last night, so i'll be starting it soon. Then hopefully I'll have more creative things to say about the book

Hey guys! Twilight is coming out in Nov 27 in Malaysia and i'm excited! Love the book. Seen the trailer, but it didn't follow the book in one way >.<

oh and um, whoever from the countries where twilight is released earlier... just rate the movie, yeah? how was it? how's the characters? how's the storyline compared to the book? 10 to 1.

it doesn't come out in US until Friday(21)... but I know they added a whole bunch of stuff.
I'm not too worried about some parts... but the three characters I'm very anxious about are: Rose, Ed, and Victoria. It looks like they're setting V up more for the second one... which means all new V material... and that makes me nervous. Rob manages to look like a stalker in most clips they show. And I think Nikki is just too CUTE and sweet to play Rose. *shrugs*
But otherwise... I'm very excited and hope that Hardwicke, Rosenberg, and Meyer worked together as much as they say.

I have just started reading the book.
I'm not sure if I'm going to see the movie.

It's no harry potter for me. Harry potter at least kept me interested (if not fanatically interested) through the series.

I couldn't get pass Twilight book one lol. Bella annoyed me too much to continue. My sister read through the 2nd book before dropping the book because she couldn't stand bella anymore lol!

Though, I am reading Twilight fanfiction purely because there's vampires (and bella is far more tolerable) so I get the gist of what's going on in the books.

As such, I've developed a liking for Alice, Jacob, jasper, and Rose. Bella/Edward are still annoyances.

Though the idea of a sparkling vampire is meh.

I think it looks good, never read the books and I dont care, I think it will be a hit. It already sold out in the us. So when it comes out friday, if you dont already have a ticket you wont be able to see it!

The book has been big in my school, but I haven't really read it...I heard it is good, so I might pick it up over winter break. Has anyone seen the South Park spoof of the book? I thought it was funny...but Im not really an opinion on this subject.

I think it has a good chance to be as popular as Harry Potter movies.I guess will find out when the movie is out of theaters and we can compare box office reports.I never really read the books, because I'm not into romance novels, which is what these books seemed like...just with vampires.
