I think there are many manga&anime fans on this site,so I decided to start a topic...
So,I have a qestion:
Which is your favourite manga/anime?

I like a lot Hellsing,Death Note and Vampire Princess Miyu... But there are many others,so I would like to talk more about the animes...

I have a lot of favorite anime. Obviously, I like Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny (as can be seen by my avvie and siggie set). Also, I like Sailor Moon and used to have such sets. Detective Conan is good, too, and I'm currently watching it. I like YuYu Hakusho (Spirit Detective) as well. Sort of reminds me of Sherlock Holmes but with a supernatural twist to it.

Manga: Berserk, Record of Lodoss War
Anime: same as above + Kimagure Orange Road, His & Her Circumstances

Manga: Maison Ikkoku, Ranma 1/2
Anime: Fushigi Yuugi, Twelve Kingdoms (why didn't they finish this one? ), Dirty Pair (which I use for my siggie),Rayearth (which I know Phoenix likes as well)

Currently, the anime I'm watching is Claymore (awesome series!). Once I'm done watching it (it only has 26 episodes...I'm already on the 20th), I'll try to find the manga, which is still on-going. Apparently the anime starts to get different from the manga near the end.

With the anime club at school, I'm also watching Azumanga Daioh and Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu. There were others, too, but I couldn't stay to watch them and see what they were about. I liked both of them since they're both really funny XD

I've also read the entire Death Note manga (and watched the first live action movie) and loved it. Currently, I'm reading xxxHolic and The Gentlemen's Alliance (otherwise known as Shinshi Doumei Cross), as well as keeping up with Naruto and Bleach as new chapters come out. Out of the manga I've read, I'd say these are my favourites as of now.

As for anime, favourites include Trinity Blood, Ouran High School Host Club, Hikaru no Go, La Corda d'Oro (aka Kiniro no Corda), and Vision of Escaflowne.

Tanemura Arina is one of my favourite mangakas so Full Moon wo Sagashite and Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne are my favourites. Also I like Kamichama Karin because I think it's just sooh cute and the opening song is just so bad that I gotta love it ;>

As for manga, I don't really read ^^,

I like Death Note [So kool], D-Gray man is great too [Anyone here read it]. Also like Naruto, HxH, and many Clamp's mangas.

Like INUYASHA, JHIKOGU SHOUJO GIRL FROM HELL, FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, PLEASE TEACHER, DRAGONBALLZ, GOD SAVE OUR KING!, .HACK//SLASH AND LEGEND OF TWILIGHT, AREA 88 AND HUNGRY HEART!!!

I used to see POKEMON my little cousin brother always sees it no matter what and i got used to it aswell its relly good!!!
But the movie is really great than the tv shows!!!

Dragonball DragonBall Z and DragonBall GT

Whell my favorites are Blood+(whitch is also my avvie and siggie),Paradise Kiss,Death Note, Sailor Moon,Tokyo Mew Mew,YuYu Hakusho(loved the ending),
Bleach,Inuyasha,Kiddy Grade.

Personally, I think it is close to impossible for an anime to surpass the manga. I've watched tons and I've read tons more and it just all reinforces what I personally feel.

Perhaps one execption for anime would be Slam Dunk fer me. =)

I read manga extensively, but I read Chinese-translated ones so I do not know the Japanese name fer all of them. Some of those nice ones I can remember off the top of my head would be:

- Berserk (@pandaba: I'm pleasantly surprised to know someone else reads it other than me. Bet you're a guy? lol)
- D-Grayman
- Bleach
- Godhand Teru
- This series on the naval rescue team, I think the English translation fits loosely with the idea of "Special Rescue Unit" or something along that line
- Flame of Recca (One of the best! MAR is nothing close)
- Ranma 1/2 (Classic! Inuyasha is getting terribly draggy...)
- Crimson Hero
- Skip Beat
- Life
- Detective Conan (To me, it is definitely better than Kindaichi)
- Dragonball Z (big-time classic!)
- His and Her circumstances
- tons more. I wouldn't be able to finish listing even if I wanted to. =)

Ohh, ParaKiss!! I watched PK during one summer with a friend of mine. It was really good! Have you also tried watching Nana? It's by the same author and I actually liked Nana better ^^

LoL I`m crazy about Sailor Moon... It`s my fav anime & manga & I`ll stick to it till the end

Okay as for Anime I like Code Geass, Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny, Bleach, Blood+, Death Note, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai 7, Alice Academy, Shakugan no Shana, Fate/Stay Night, Full Metal Alchemist, Darker Than Black, Claymore, and Rozen Maiden. I'm trying to watch .hack//sign and Gundam 00 as of now, I just don't have much time to do so. :]


And for Manga, I'm currently Reading Love Monster, Bitter Virgin and Claymore. I also love Nana, Parakiss, and Fruits Basket.

@Dark_Angel: I'm not really sure but try Chobits. Chii looks neko-ish.
