Can someone help me?
My characters can't move...its stuck on on spot..also when i use the traveling rune i get teleported but my characters can't move. I tried using arrows and clicking the screen but nothing works..I wonder if there's a refresh button for the game or something..and also when teleported the circle thingy is not below the character where it should be but above like this

I've been playing the game and so far so good...

All of a sudden, I use a transportation crystal.. and then I can't move. Weird.

I tried mouse click, or joystick, arrow keys.. nothing.. the character faces the direction but doesn't move.

I tried searching forums and google searching "Aveyond can't move" with no success.

Is this a bug? Can this be fixed?

I think I stumbled on a fix... even though it's not the most ideal.

First you'll need the aveyond travelling rune.

Use it, and then wait for one of the bees to fly up to you and attack you.

After you win the battle, then you can move.

You don't really need a traveling rune. You can move after the battle is finished.

Save your game, but NOT over your previous save, and then close the game. When you restart it and load the game you just saved, can you then move?

EDIT: I just noticed the original post is from long ago. I'm leaving this post in place though, in case someone in the future faces the same situation.

I seem to have come across the same bug. I'm replaying AV1 on build C. When I try and use the travelling runes (to anywhere) I get stuck and can't move. I've done a bit of investigating and it seems like it only happens if I use the travelling runes from a particular place on the western isle. I've taken a screen shot of the position




If I move a pace away from this spot and use the travelling runes they seem to work fine.

It's not an important bug given all the work going on GoN at the moment (and I have a save at this point so can avoid it). But I thought it was worth reporting it.

thanks Elm. We actually discovered a very similar problem in GoN when the two chapters were combined as a single game.

I'll have to check and see what the solution was.

Hi, I'm in the small islands (Forgot what they're called.. , the one where Pirate John is.) And I used the Traveling Runes to get there, then suddenly I'm stuck! I can change directions, but can't go anywhere... Please help!!! I really want to finish my game!! It's so much fun, I don't want to start ALL OVER... Please! Is there ANYTHING I can do?

What build are you playing? What were you doing right before you used the traveling rune?

If you email me your save file, I might be able to fix it for you.

I recently purchased the Aveyond games, and was working through Rhen's quest, when I hit a bug:
I was on the pirate island, on the tiny world map.I had forgotten my skudder, so I used the warp rune to go back to Sedona, where I had parked it. however, now I can't move anywhere. I try to move in all directions, but all rhen does(or anyone else I try to change the party leader to) is face the various directions, and not move anywhere.

This is a great game, and I really don't want to have to start from the beginning again.

I've noticed that when I have the portal stones goodie sometimes when I teleport from one place to another and I'm at the entrance, I can't move. I can press the arrow keys but that only turns the leader. Is there a fix for this?

I thought this problem was fixed in the later builds. We worked on it for quite a while.

Have you tried shutting the game down completely and then restarting it? That may allow you to move again, but I can't remember for sure.

Yes I have and it doesn't work I have to start from the beginning. I believe that this thread should go in the technical questions forum. If you could move it there, thank you.

I suppose I could e-mail you my save if that happens and you can try and fix it. I don't see how I could get into a fight in Aveyond if I can't move.

If you have a rune for Aveyond, it'll take you to just outside of Teacup Town, and you can wait for the bees to approach.

does this mean a build D is going to be made? if it is it should correct these bugs:
-i forgot its location but there was a invissbale block somewhere which made a hard time avoiding tough monsters
-the stuck in one place bug
-there is an annoying bug after mt orion boat ride to the other side for the first tim and it changes your leader from rhen to lars (itt also messes up how you move on the rest of the game.
-and the brige trap in the low lands

some of those prevent finishing the game. other are just plain annoying. should there be a patch or something?
