This Monday, we had our Meeting de Avance. Personally, I find myself so joyful that I am about to step down from my position as Research Team Head since being one is such a headache, you know. Tons of research and book-binding....even at holidays. (It makes me remember the time I was not able to submit something. *shrugs*)



Anyway, it took us nearly two hours, which is quite short for me. I was too lazy to actually attend classes. As for the candidates, they were quite well, especially that I saw some candidates who are determined to win and help the whole community in ways. There are two parties, namely SERVIAM and CHANGE party. The positions are sophomore representative up to president. Both parties have differences by the way they would be implementing them.

1. Projects
Most of their projects were on the HS domain improvement, student - teacher forums, review classes, PA (Public Announcer) sound improvements and continuation of the SG Suggestion box.

2. Issues to the Cream class
Many people feel discriminated when they find a section full of smart students. The students in the regular classes would feel bad and envy the honors' class and they will say "Oh? Now we are the idiots of this batch, eh? Don't talk to us! We are cooler than you!" I remember during the door-to-door campaign, a friend of mine, also the first honor in the cream class, and running for VP position as well, started to speak in front of the class until a classmate of mine shouted out loud "MAYABANG!" or "BOASTFUL!" in english. My friend got so angry and started to defend his post. For me, all students are the same/ equal. I must tell you. You should be thankful for not being in the CC. Why? All lessons are taught in a fast-paced manner and you should know all lessons taught are much advanced than regular classes. After three days, QUIZ! NO EXCEPTIONS! Remember I taught there as well and we share the same experience with the other student-teachers during the Teachers' month.

I do not know how are they to implement these but I would vote for one after....

- comparing and contrasting their answers at they Q&A portion of the Meeting.
- Observations around the campus
- reaction when being approached.

And that would be all.....I hope I choose the right persons to vote....something that I will not regret....
