Aveyond 3 is currently in beta testing.

For almost a week now, our mods and a number of guild members have been putting the game through its paces, getting stuck in all kinds of weird and wonderful places, and venturing into spots where no man (or thief) should ever set foot.

In a few days a second group of beta testers will join in, so by the time the game reaches you, it should be relatively smooth and bug-free.

Beta testing will continue for a few more weeks, and we're still on track for a May release.

And to those of you who I know are thinking "May is tomorrow!" - remember - May lasts for a whole 31 days

April lasted forever. Anyways, great screenshots, I especially like the ruins scene. Should be interesting. Is the Orc Empire a town, a battlefield, or both? There it looks as though that Orc (I assume it's safe to assume that is an Orc) is an enemy. =/ Would prefer a town. =)

Murder Outline? OMG!!!! Sorry, but I am really exicted about this! I had soooooooooo much fun doing the assassanation quest in Av1 and the murder quest in AP! And, chances are, this one will be no diffrent! That bag looks like it will somehow be of an importance to a quest. Wait, near Thais, AP places returning- Gasp!!!! It is highley unlikely but OMG what if those are the ruins of Dyuti? I know, Dyuti was near Candar not Thais, but they were only seperated by a little bit of woods and a cave, and in Av2 only by woods. I can hardly wait for the game!!!!!!!!

The one thing that I find most curious about the crime scene outline in the Orc Empire is how much it resembles Mel's outline - though she's obviously standing in the same scene looking quite alive.

You saw a glimpse of her in Ahriman's Prophecy (Jack's cohort). The main bad guy is a pretty tough Vampire Lord who wants to enslave the "day walkers" and blot out the sun or something. We might actually see Galahad set free, and I've got a wicked surprise at the end. – Amanda Fitch, Right! But I have a question ... this doesn't quite add up. Jack's pal in Amaranth's Prophecy was called Vel, not Mel. Help please? Did she change her name on a whim? Will her avatar be the same? Will Galahad and Tejial's be the same?

I love for the "good" to win out in the end in some way, even if not clearly or completely, but it's also so much fun to play the "dark" characters and see what mischief they can get up to.

You just have to wait till the beta testers have found and squashed the bugs first, which, when you think about it, kinda rocks.

The first half of the game will be the first chapter and the second chapter will be the other half that continues on the story. So basically, it's just like a chaptered book.
