I spent the last week working on the in-game tutorial for Yummy Drink Factory (YDF). I hate programming these sorts of things, but I learned after I finished Grimm's Hatchery that tutorials are absolutely necessary for games with new types of game play.

As many of you have guessed, it is a *little* like Diner Dash, but the game is definitely not a clone. I think you will agree after you play it that it brings a new twist to an old idea. And as usual, there is a bit of wicked humor concerning our dear protagonist. Poor thing!

I'm nervously checking the game portal sites each week to see if someone is going to use the formula that I'm using for YDF, but luckily, no one has hit upon it yet. There have been tons of cooking games coming out and each time I see a new review for one of them on Gamezebo, I hold my breath. Luckily no one is using my formula, so there is still hope that YDF will be unique when it is released in June.

In other news, I've closed the General Store and it can only be used by Guild Members at this time. There are two bugs that need to be fixed before a larger release is ready. Xooby will be debugging the problem shortly, so hang on.

As most of you know, I live in Seattle. It's been a crazy couple of days here. One moment it's sunny, the next moment it's snowing, then it's hailing, and then it's raining. Sheesh!
