Well, let's see what would I say first..

I was standing, in front of the Brotherhood Head Quarters. I had been waiting for this day, though!

Two weeks ago, I did manage to collect the required items to get be promoted. The jobs were quite easy, but they surely want something I can only get with all I had. Well, people said that you'll reap what you sow.. And at the same time, I fell ill, so I endured myself from getting out of my hideout until I got better. What I sow, huh?

When I held the application, I was all sweaty and nervous. The same as the way I felt by standing in front of the guild building(well, looked a bit rusty). I was always watching the building from far. But I had enough, i think.

Can I make it? Can I keep up to my pace when I meet anyone inside? Nor to protect the citizens? Oh my,..
But I won't lose!(would I?)

With that, I went inside, and smelled something rotten, yet delicious. I looked into a round brown thing, and I recognized of this small existence. Could it be... that *censor*?
The nostalgic feeling filled my own when I found the...! It had been a while since I knew this weak buddy. It's sad to see him like that. "Melon bread.. What are you doing there..," I said with exaggerated manner, in dramatical pose. Though it's already rotten, I attacked by a sudden urge in my stomach. Without giving a second thought, I gave it a bi-- I left it at its grave, safe and sound.

The next I walked in, observed through the office and met old documents. Given the interest to the history of Brotherhood, I started rummaging on few points which I hadn't known. Toothpicks, cannibalism, paper fans(oh my)... Melon bread. Wait!! The Melon pan was there! Laid on an old paper with their 2D form. I read the history with enthusiasm. Made of an enriched dough covered in a thin layer of crisp cookie dough. Their appearance resembles a melon as their name suggest, yet they are not traditionally melon flavored though. The never so-so....it's one of the BH's favourite foods!
Well, should I rejoice? I mean the Melon juicy bread! Oh yeah!!

Dear Diary

Hello Friend

Oh, forget it. Never could get these journal entries right. Kingsfield granted me a 'day off' after the last mission to take it easy and not kill someone. After all, there's nothing easy about dealing with that pompous brat of a princess.

I hate dealing with royalties face to face. They are so argh. But, enough about my frustrations.

Today I checked all my weapons (note to self: buy new sharpening stone. The last one's bout had it), spent hours going over new techniques and refining old ones, and check up on Fang. I got her new shoes and treats so hopefully she forgives me.

All in all, its been a pretty relaxing day. Well, some robbers tried to rob me earlier. Three I believe. They are now in the city's jail with matching bruises. When will those little weasels ever learn?

Yep, all in all a relaxing day. But, back to work tomorrow. There's talk about a troll attack up north. I have my weapons and Fang's all primped up so I'll check up on that. Hopefully its nothing but hearsay though with trolls, you never know.

It's been awhile I've posted a blog here. Been awhile... been awhile.

I was like... procrastinating over my VB6 programming project for my course's final implementation project.
At first I was like... Shesto! I can't do this Loading thing for the application. So I had no choice so I asked some of the experts. Although they were able to help a bit but none of those can help improve my knowledge on this loading thingy.

(Fast forwarding, this part involved a certain programming phase that had gone through millions of trials and error. Yes, I am exaggerating about that million, but that's just me)

So then I finally managed to include this save and load thing like all other application did.

HURRAH!

Not only that, I was able to save it in a format that can be readable by my application alone and none other.

DOUBLE HURRAH!

It was all due to the motivation from the project deadline. Lol
If only I can do the same to my two game projects with the motivation force came from someone else, or maybe Elini and her whip. Lolol.

Ah yes, and thanks to CherryWine for the contribution to my application development.

The other celebration that came with this entry are not so important, just that I got a Rising Star Badge for the recent event in Habbo. (For being a lady killer model for my friend's fashion show) xD

Recently I've been checking up on an old cupboard at my home for some old stuff. (A very small one, pillar shaped)

I was shocked to discover that termites has infested the entire cupboard. I know it won't be able to harm the things in there too much since its mostly old disc, just that the cover got completely damage.

But not, you know that termites only eat woods, paper and other organic stuffs like leaves. This termite colony doesn't eat just those, they are all mutated that they start eating the digital informations on the disc like a virus. Look at how they ate the disc O_O




The magnetic part (the silver-like part of disc) was completely eaten off from the disc. Leaving the transparent plastic of the disc unscratched. O_O

Thank goodness this shows that they didn't mutate to the level where they will eat the plastic and metal.

I don't think the termite colony isn't there anymore despite not hearing sounds of crackling and chewing in the cupboard. I hope it didn't migrate to another cupboard.

The cupboard was still there though in case the colony still alive, I was told not to move the cupboard otherwise the termite will force to migrate. Been knowing that on a minor termite colony, I crack open their chew-up trail and they all left instantly. XD

A terrible defeat, even the strongest of Brotherhood couldn't even defeat a minor mutated termite

I simply have no idea why I'm panic now all of a sudden, my hands are shaking and feel weak. An hour ago I couldn't even answer on my quiz paper slowly, it seems like I've got hasten and I write twice as fast as usual

My handwriting isn't the same, in fact its even messier. What happen to me I'm not really sure.
It's like I'm just out of a panic room, I tried to calm myself down after class but I couldn't. My mind is confused and my hands are shaking.

Hmm, I guess I will be fine later if I spend more time doing what I like most.

*Sigh* my submission didn't win at all...

It's yet another one of those busy busy week. i got so many stuff to do and I don't know where to start.

I got my finals coming, game project being dead like zombie, brotherhood event, game progress, facebooking, taking care of my pets, assigning armies, preparing my desk for some serious revision, extra classes. ARRGGHHH! Kabooooooommm! GAME OVER.

The pressure, the pressure. I am not sure what to do now when there are so many important things I need to keep up with. I need some help here, I need someone or something to spark my motivation. I'm feeling like I'm on another world @_@

So I finally decided on a guild! I had a lot of fun interacting with the various guild members in guild hall. In the end, I was torn between the Dragon Lords and the Brotherhood. While both guilds appealed to me, I think the promise of hula lessons from Kinnison was the deciding factor in my decision. I was going to join the Brotherhood. As I gave Brycej my application, I felt a little nervous. What would I do exactly in the Brotherhood? Would they welcome me into their community? Would I ever learn the spork-hula? Would my mastery of using spam and duct tape to extort information fit in with the guild? Would KTC forgive and forget that I had used these weapons on her?

Bryce let me know that my application has been accepted. I was now a member of the Brotherhood! I slowly walked toward the Brotherhood’s training base. Nervously I placed my hand on the doorknob wondering what the Brotherhoodians reactions will be. Fighting the urge to run the opposite direction I opened the door.

What!? Where is everyone? I thought there would be at least one member waiting to greet me. All of a sudden Alicia ran toward me. “Oh good you’re here” she said. “Take this you will need it.” She threw a large spork at me. “Come on!” she yelled as she ran out the door.

I ran after her struggling to keep up when I saw a fierce battle going on in front of me. To my left I saw a swirling blur, no wait..That’s Kinnison! He was shaking his hips as fast as he can. He is definitely an expert hula dancer. I saw goblins becoming temporarily dazed by the twirling of Kinninon’s hips. I stared at Kinnison and I slowly started to fall into the daze of his motions. All of a sudden a giant spork came slashing down in front of me stabbing one of the dazed goblins. I looked up and saw KTC.

“Snap out of it tbear” KTC shouted at me. “You are one of us now! You need to become immune to the mesmerizing allure of Kinnison’s hula! Why are you just standing the holding that spork? Use it!”

Of course an army of goblins would attack Amaranthia on the day I decided to join the Brotherhood. Well it was definitely a way to learn the art of spork fighting. While I was hoping for a more formal training, I guess being thrown into battle forces you to learn out of necessity. So I was about to test my non-existent fighting skills. I went charging into the ongoing battle. I looked in front of me and saw Wolf vaporizing hordes of goblins with his Tesla Lightening Coil Gun, to my left Alicia and KTC were attacking the dazed goblins and Kinnison was a blur of hips as he continued to hula, to my right I saw Jolien fighting 3 goblins by herself. I ran over to assist her, when one of the goblins saw me coming and turned to attack me. Agggggggghhhhhhh!!!!!! I turned and ran away as fast as I could. Wait! What am I doing? I am part of the Brotherhood now, I need to fight. I turned back around and went charging toward the goblin. I closed my eyes and thrust the spork at the goblin catching him in the gut. The goblin fell. I couldn’t believe I had actually done that. I looked up and saw the remaining goblins fleeing.

Jolien ran toward me. “Thanks!” she yelled. “I was having trouble fighting all 3 goblins and you really helped me out there! I’m glad you have joined us!” The other brotherhood members came running toward us. “So how is your first day going,” asked KTC. “Is this what everyday in the brotherhood is going to be like?” I asked a little worried about what I had signed up for. “Not everyday, but we are always prepared to defend Amaranthia.” KTC replied.

“Whew! I need a drink after all that hula dancing.” Kinnison said, panting slightly. “Is everyone ready to head over to the Tavern?”
“The Tavern, now that is something I know about! I’m in.” I said.

As we head to the Tavern, I thought if this was how may first day went, just what is tomorrow going to like. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.

You know, sometimes I wonder if Kings knows what's he doing. Half the time he's out some where, than out of the bloom, BAM. new assignment.

Like now. He just appeared out of no where, handed me an assignment, than slouched off in his homeless disguise. Oh well.

Looks like I'm to rescue two mages from an unknown monster.

I hate these jobs. Maybe I can get Draider to take it....naw, she would kick my behind. Not after all the princess and little demon issue.

Eh, job done. But that was quite a monster. It was massive and had yellow reddish fur. Two beady little eyes, stared down at me while it laughed. It's long ears almost touched the floor and it had a small stub of a tail. I waited patiently since I didn't feel like dying yet as no one had any information about it.

Finally it finished laughing and charged at me screaming. Pulling out my trusty weapon, I stepsided the beast and stabbed it in the hind.

After twenty minutes of dodging and hacking, it finally ran away. Hmph. Guess that wasn't so bad.

After freeing the mages and finishing the mission (not to mention a small gold bonus) it's all done.

Now I plan to find a nice inn to take a nap.. if Kings doesn't corner me first.

Oh wait... I think that's Draider over there. I better hurry up writing this down.
