This was my introduction to RPG type games, and let my tell you, my intro couldn't have been any better. I immediately fell in love with the world and the characters. It engaged me, challenged me, and left me ultimately satisfied. Now it's still my favorite computer game of all time.

This was also the first RPG that I ever played and it was exelent! Well done!

This game was amazing when I played it. I love it! The only other thing I would ask for was a little bit of a romance triangle between Rhen and Lars and Rhen and Dameon.
This game has always left me satisfied. When I first played it, (by the way, this was my first RPG game) it was a little hard, but I must admit that soon I would spend hours playing the game. One of the most amazing games I have ever played!

This was also my first RPG, and I immediatly fell in love with it within the first 5 minutes. It's become my favorite game in the world, and I love all of the other Aveyond games. Good work Amanda!!

Aveyond: Rhen's Quest is just an abnormal game but it's totally awesome. There's nothing like it!!! But one thing I'm not sure about is, is Aveyond: Rhen's Quest... Aveyond v2.0?

I love this game, it was also my first RPG game. At first i wasn't sure if i should download it because the figures were a little "lame", but i loved the drawings so i decided to try it. I have been hocked on games like this ever sens. (Especially the aveyond games)

Aveyond is my favorite game that I have ever played! The characters are amazing and the story is so great that I can't stop playing! The graphics are cool and real pretty, and the monsters are awesome! I suggest this game for people who are playing their first RPG game.

You know, this was the first game I cried on! I played this for two months and when I was about to decide my ending, I remembered the title music of Ahriman's Prophecy vr.2. My tears fell down for I can't believe that Rhen's friends will not meet again!!! I mean, I missed the times when I would get lost!!! And also, I let my classmates paly this game. This is the game that got me into RPGs. I fell in love with it very, very quickly. It's one of my favorite games of all time and anyone who's even slightly intreseted in RPGs should play it. I could gush about this game for hours!

As of many people here, this was my first RPG. I've loved this kind of games since I played Aveyond! I randomly found it on Big Fish Games, when I was browsing around for awesomeness. And we can say I found it! ^^
I ended up by bothering my mother SO much she bought me the game And it was totally worth!
All I think was missing was Rhen x Lars. I mean, they look like they're made for each other!! Besides that, it was an awesome game!

This was the first rpg game I played. I did not play final fantasy for I thought it was boring. When I read the description of aveyond: buy a mansion, pets and more. Explore a medieval world..... my attention suddenly aroused. When I installed the game, I really got carried away of moving the characters in my keyboard. I suddenly began to like this game. Of all the aveyond games I played, I rate this one 199% oh. Add one so that 200%. I really love the world map bgm. The lands end, the witchwood and of course, ghedahre!!! Please! Keep making games like this amaranthia! The tilesets should be like that and the characters should not change. Please! This was a great game!!!

Aveyond.one word it means many things but to me it means pasion adventure and a kick but plot i loved it every step of the way its a game that truley sucks you in im still shocked i got out of the moniter its such a great game if anyone has played it you can be lured easily i was sitting on the opposite side of te house a week or 2 after i beat it and im thinking should i play it again and i think it was good but im not relly tempted suddenly on full volume the title screan music plays and i sprint over and play again.

Rhen's Quest wasn't my first RPG, but it was the first one that introduced me to Aveyond and to Amanda's genius. I play the entire Aveyond series through from beginning to the so-far end about every six months or so. (Hint hint... next? My bad.) Aveyond lovers! Arvale offers the thrills and the witty plotting, and no, Jay did not pay me to say that, lol.

Loved the graphics. Very cute and girly. Felt like I was playing a fairytale. I'm only at one of the druids, so can't say much other than that lol

this is a forever fav! this is the first rpg i've played. the characters add different feelings depending on their roles and as soon as i played the first hour i knew i'd love the game.

I've replayed the game while I'm waiting for TDP, and it happened that... I thinked that whould be great if Rhen could learn all the techniques, like all books for Lars (or all the Spheres for Iya in Ean's quest). I'll pay all I have for a goodie like that.

This is my favorite game, my first RPG (not counting Zelda games), and the best out of all of the Aveyond games. You can get a Shockwave.com subscription cheaper, though, and for 5$ a month, you get all the Aveyond games and everything else Shockwave has as a download.

I love Aveyond: Rhen's Quest so much!! At first, I didn't like it that much because I didn't get it at all and it was hard, but that was years ago so I decided to play it again, and it is the best thing ever!! I also enjoy the other games, but the ending was a little too obvious and I wished it to be something different... but anyway, I love it lol

This is my fifth Aveyond game. I've played the Lord of Twilight series and loved it! I'm preparing to download Rhen's Quest and hope to enjoy it, too!

This game os by far my favorite it took me about a year at age six with no cheats to complete but thats because i was exploring everything and let me say there is everythign to explore it is VERY enjoyable and it really will be my favorite game forever no matter how many others coem along im sticking to rhens quest

one of the best rpg games ever mostly good plot line (didnt like dameon though) well developed main character hours of gameplay and multiple endings i loved being able to choose the skills of rehn and lars over all it is a first class game well worth the 20 bucks

Where may I find build B of this magnificent game? Don't get me wrong, I like the final release. I would just like to play the version that I used to play.

I prefer build A of the game, but it's an amazing game! The story is unlike any I've ever known of and it immediately captures your attention and draws you in. It was like a book I couldn't put down in many ways, since I HAD to know what happened next! I spent many nights playing when I probably should have been sleeping. I believe I've played all of the Aveyond games about three times each but this one is still my favorite! The story never gets old and I am always finding out new quests that I missed in previous runthroughs! So many options and so much to do that you never get tired of playing! So worth buying! You will absolutely get your money's worth with this game!

This was my first RPG game played. Really interesting and exciting. I totally loved it!

I wasa recently in a mood for some good game with a bit of everything and Aveyond immediately came to mind. This game was certainly not the first rpg I ever played but this game started a chain reaction in a return to this type of rpg. And after many years, the first Aveyond is what trully stays with me, especially the fun characters and good storytelling. I really liked Dameon, Rhen and a couple of other character (types) like Tel'ijal which became later staple signatures of Amaranth games. The whole series really does display a goodunderstanding and command of "failry taleness", but this one os by far the one I find myself returning to most frequently. And moreover this trully is some good writing here and involved storytelling. So when I miss adventuring in fairy tale-ish atmosphere, this one is one of the first choices. It stands the test of time quite well.

I found this game on yahoo games at the age of 10 and I fell in love with it immediately. This continues to be one of my favourite games among the series :3 I hope the creation of Aveyond games never ceases.

Aveyond was the first RPG I tried to play (when I didn't know what it even meant haha) when I was about 8. The trial ended with me lost in the first forest and perpetually dying. Oviously, I didn't buy it. I think I was 10 when I played Aveyond 2 and I loved it! I then went back to the first and WOW it was a lot easier hahaha and and amazinggg game I love it so much <3 One question: is the character art in build c different?
